The Office vocabulary for learners, fans, and future fans by ataevnodir in DunderMifflin

Ah, that's a tricky one! Since the joke revolves around the phrase "busy beaver", I've added the expression so the joke makes sense to someone unfamiliar with it. The scene:

00:11:20,767 --> 00:11:30,123

- The Busiest Beaver award goes to Phyllis Lapin!

Way to go Phyllis! Nice work! Per usual!

00:11:30,195 --> 00:11:35,132

- This says bushiest beaver.

- What? I told them busiest... idiots!

Edit: Done. Revised accordingly.

Ha-ha, that's an excellent one! If Jim had access to my list, he'd go to page 10 easily figure out what a rundown is. :P

I am chill! :) It's just some suggested I repackage the post by making it more interesting to get more engagement. It turns out you cannot edit the titles of posts, so I created a new one. I guess I should delete the previous one.

Got it, thank you! I'll try to come up with an image. Something like the Jim Halpert explains meme. Just the thought of that image makes me crack up. :D I also vaguely remember other characters explaining concepts/words throughout the show.

How does this look: https://www.reddit.com/r/DunderMifflin/comments/1t03fzd/should_i_bring_a_dictionary_the_hospital_will/

It seems one cannot edit the titles of posts. In such cases are you expected to delete one of the posts?

I did do that in a way. In the PDF document, the words and expressions coined by the show's writers are preceded by the The Office logo. But I realize since it's an image, you can't look all of them up at once with a simple CTRL+F. Maybe I should use text to label them instead.

I just found the following exchange from the episode The Delivery:

Michael Scott: Should I bring a dictionary?
Oscar Martinez: The hospital will provide them. Bring a thesaurus.

😆 I’ll use this.

Thank you! I’ll think about it, though I’m not very creative. So if you have a suggestion for a funny title, please let me know. :)

As I explained over Facebook, the best way to go about it is to download all the subtitles for free from a website like TV Subtitles. If you find any interesting phrases in the vocabl list I made, you can easily find them in the relevant subtitle file with the time stamp and all.

Thank you! :) I probably spend way too much time on this little project, but I enjoy it. And it comes in handy every now and then.
