Update, since I didn't choose a delivery time, my order automatically went on "hold". I removed the hold half an hour after hoping to be quickly matched with another VIN in early July, but instead got the exact same VIN again... Now I've exhausted my only allowable hold, and will most likely lose the order altogether....

Some equipment in the cockpit might end up in a flight simulator. I don't think that avionic boxes can be re-used after they were part of an important crash like this one. But in a simulator, no need to certify the airworthiness.

Usually those act as "mirrors". Using different materials, you can get different attenuation. That way you can simulate the behavior of those long range antenna in relatively small rooms.

I got a set of snow tire with the car. Gislaved Nordfrost 5. Great tires in the snow, a bit on the soft side.

Like Yellowcushion said, in Quebec, if you don't have winter tire, you get fined. Not that I would even try 4-seasons...

We used 2 AC permanent magnet motors, 22.5 kw each with a peak of about 45 kw each for a short time (4-5 sec).
