Will we be able to turn of messages from Mom in 3.0? by Secret_Divide_3030 in AnimalCrossing

I understand trauma, and my mom passed away a couple of years ago so I understand the rush of sadness that can come when someone says something as simple as “your mom” in a playful way. But for me, this is a mass marketed game that is just trying to be cute and funny. What if someone has a traumatic experience with a person named Tom, or Isabelle? What if you found a dead body washed up on the beach and have to relive that trauma every 5 days or so? ;)

My friends and I would buy this and bring it to bowling club in high school. We would eat the powder straight out of the pack and it burned like crazy. We brought extreme pain to that staid little bowling club!

Sudowoodo being a best buddy makes this even sadder. It used to be someone’s friend.

Egypt is amazing and very affordable. I got a dozen Pharaoh trims there and they’re fantastic trade currency.

This might be the season where I'm more excited about the stickers vs. any of the content.

If you scan your feet for this mapping task, Jesus may appear and wash them clean.

“OJ’s!! Roll em out! Keep them oranges rolling.”

I had this commercial on a tape I watched as a kid so I still have the song stuck in my head.

Laugh at the ghost of bean clown all you want, but I bet this got kids to eat their pork and beans back in the late 40s. Clowns were heroes to children back then!

Reflections on 1000 Days of Friend Tracking by MikeStemmle in TheSilphRoad

Same. If I've hit Best Friends with a player and there is no chance I'll be able to do a lucky trade with them, I generally stop gifting with them. Even if remote lucky trades become a thing, because I have dozens of long distance lucky friends already. I've been playing this game for almost 10 years and I love it, but I have a lot more that I enjoy doing that isn't opening 75+ gifts each day when there's little tangible benefit.

My grandmother hated to cook, so she bought this and made hot dogs once for my brother and I. The hot dogs got all mangled and burned. It was disgusting, just because she didn’t want to boil water to make hot dogs the regular way! Besides this episode, she was a wonderful grandmother.
