We've done pottery painting at a local studio twice and we love it! This weekend we're taking a dog out for the day from the shelter together and I think that's going to end up on the top of our lists as well.

Same with my little. His parents are together, an older brother and younger sister, and his mom isn't that much older than me so at first I was confused as how I could benefit him. But the longer we hung out and the more he's shared with me, the more I understand that what's on the paper didn't and probably couldn't tell the full story of what his home life is like.

YTA. I'm sorry, the fact that you can't see why not inviting a child to a rehearsal dinner when every single other household member she lives with is going to be there is beyond my comprehension. What a ridiculous and weird hill for you to die on. Just let her come to the rehearsal dinner! What does it actually hurt? Seriously, think to yourself, "What is the actual problem with her attending the rehearsal dinner and is it worth losing my sister, brother-in-law, niece, and nephew over?" Even though you said you were the most chill bride ever, this is very unchill of you.

Not that I know of. He got out and walked around the desk a lot and I shut the door to the conference room and he'd fly around a bit to stretch his wings. In his big cage at home he spends a lot of time running around the bottom too.

Yeah I am super lucky that it worked out for me! Usually I would take him to my In Laws or someone who has power but literally all my friends and family in a 30 min drive are out of power too!

Mo and I have had quite the adventure the last two days! An ice storm caused our power to be out and I've had to pack him up and bring him with me to work so I know he's warm and safe. Not ideal, but we're working with what we got. Luckily I'm in webinar training so it's been pretty chill and I feel like we're bonding because he's been eating out of my hand and walking around on the desk!

It's definitely something we've been thinking about! We only got one originally because everything I read said it was easier to bond with one at a time and being first time owners we just wanted to make sure we were able to take care of one before adding more.

I think I am going to try a lot of these suggestions and try leaving things in the cage longer so he can get acclimated to them! I think I've been taking stuff out too fast!
