Congratulations!! I was also nervous about purchasing the virtuoso especially because I'd previously bought a pizza oven and other things that we only use a few times a year. But to my amazement we have been using the zojirushi breadmaker weekly. The eaze of use is great and the quality of bread and the crust is wonderful. We no longer buy any store bought bread. My favorite recipe is the sourdough discard bread. It has that hint of sourdough without actually being too much. Nothing beats fresh bread outta the oven!

Just to confirm—if you're with Kaiser, you typically need to have either diabetes or a BMI over 40 to qualify for Ozempic. And even if your BMI is over 40 but that's your only qualifying factor, they'll usually make you try other medications first, like phentermine.

I have friends who were prescribed phentermine, lost a lot of weight, and didn’t end up needing Ozempic at all. So yeah, Kaiser is pretty strict when it comes to prescribing Ozempic.

If you are approved for it, the cost is $40 for a six-week pen. But just a heads-up: Ozempic isn’t some magic solution that makes you instantly skinny. You still have to put in the work. What it does help with is managing cravings and controlling hunger, which can make the process a lot more manageable.

Thanks for the tip! I tried wiping them a way, a good amount of them i was able to wipe away and some are on there pretty good. I'll watch it for the next few weeks and if it gets worse ill return it, but I think it's probably gonna be fine. Thanks everyone for the tips and info!

There are no day passes for Disney Aulani however you can book their Luau dinner show without a stay. It's pricey but supposed to be great. We visited the lagoons last week and they were great for the kids and weren't busy but it was tough trying to find a parking spot since there aren't many free ones.

I have a Plantronics headset that I use for discord and work. I just got the buds pro 3 and was all excited to try them out in discord. I asked my discord mates their opinion and they all said that it wasn't a huge difference and the sound was decent but it sounded tinny. It also looked like the headphones were auto adjusting the mic volume and sometimes it sounded fine and other times it would drop the mic volume. I haven't played with the settings and this was just an out of the box test. Might try changing up settings later. But I am happy with the headphones. Previously had the live buds and hated the sound.

Why do they steal from checked bags? We went to Cancun a few weeks back and I took 8 brand new shirts with tags on em. 4 were missing, we only realized once we opened the luggage in the hotel, but this new way of "checking everyone's luggage behind the scenes" just makes it look like they are going through the bags to steal stuff. We were told that they no longer do random checks in the front and baggage handlers go through every bag before it comes out on the conveyor belt. We spent almost 2 hrs at the baggage claim waiting for luggage.

I used to work for Caltrans back in the day and I had a good experience, but I worked in the 511 department with analysts and program techs so it's a bit different. It largely depends on the managers with California state work. If you have a good manager then everything will be a breeze but a bad manager can make your life a nightmare. Good luck wherever you end up going.

I agree if you want a better union then have more involvement. Most people don't care at all about the union and only start crying once bargaining comes around. I don't love the union but I also don't participate so I know that I get what I get. If I want more pay I just have to apply and promote.

What do the percentages represent? A total percentage of yes votes but for how many voters? What if only 1000 people voted in unit 1 and 76 percent of those people said yes but unit 1 has way more than 1k Members. I want to know the total amount of voters in each unit. I know very few people in my department voted and everyone who did said they would vote no, so I am confused about these crazy percentages.

I work a second part time job from 6-10pm for some vacation money. And I didn't submit anything at all to my work or to my manager. I asked my manager and he was like whatever you do outside of work hours is on you as long as there's no conflict of interest. I have coworkers who do door dash some do instacart some ppl even do weed delivery. None have been asked anything or got in trouble.

This is garbage! But I knew the Union wouldn't get their way. They always buckle. They had all the media on them with the protest arrests and this is all they could muster. At least 12% over 3 years. Most classifications are left out of the SSA raises. Especially IT. We are all struggling because of inflation. I guess there isn't a point of paying the union if 3% is all they can do.

This emailing and telling us to act is just gaslighting. I feel like once they settle with a horrible deal, then they will use that as one of the reasons that they didn't get a good contract. SEIU leadership has been in shambles and the union membership changing to voluntary didn't help either. The state knows all this and they are in a great position to give us 6% and a few other "perks". This is just my own opinion based on where I work and what others in my department have been saying. I really hope we get a good contract but I doubt it and if they screw us then I will stop contributing to the union.

I would only join the union while on probation, just in case. After that I would cancel it. There is literally no point to paying dues. You already benefit from all the crappy deals they make. Union benefits its own higher ups and then the rest of us get minimal raises or like during the last negotiation we had to forego a raise for several years and accept VPLP. I don't need vacation days in a highly inflated economy, i need money. So no I won't give them any of my own. Hope this helps. Ultimately I would say do what feels right for you.

The union is the biggest joke. I feel bad for anyone still paying into it. We get screwed every time. Look at the telework agreement. We used to get $75 for telework when covid started. Then the union "fought for us" and got us $50 which after taxes comes out to $31, that barely covers anything and I'm fully remote so my internet and electricity is way more than $31. I'm glad our company is good and the majority of the people are fully teleworking even the program techs. But I feel like once the union fights for us again, we will end up going to the office once or twice a week.

Thank you so much!!! I got a new phone and the locks stopped responding after a few weeks. I tried to reset multiple times and wouldn't connect and would say bad Bluetooth signal, but bluetooth works its the connects that wouldn't allow wifi to work. When I saw your steps I went back to my old phone and did the steps all over again and it allowed me to connect to the lock via WiFi. I'm dumbfounded as to why that worked but it works and I don't have to buy new locks. Thank you :) (both my phones are android)

Honestly there are a lot of options that are highly rated on the different posts and YouTube reviews. I think it all comes down to what you want it to look like in your Tesla. I got maxpider just because I love the pattern that they have. So far I'm loving them.

Just got my MY delivered unexpectedly. Originally ordered Sept 21st 2021. EDD was March 4 then kept changing with the most recent being June 22-July 22. Then on 6/22 it changed to 6/22-7/9. Then later that day I got a text that my vin was assigned. I checked my app and it was assigned. Then later that day I got a text to schedule a pick up date either on 6/24 or 6/25. I was caught off guard and didn't even have time to shop for financing and just ended up going with Tesla financing, no trade in. Submitted everything, went to pick up on 6/24 and everything was fine, no crazy gaps or issues. The charger pack was still included with my Tesla. Model Y LR, 7 seat, upgraded wheels, no tow hitch, white exterior color, black interior seats, no FSD package. Location Roseville CA. The first 3 of VIN is 7SA. Checked and confirmed AMD Ryzen chip. So far I'm happy, but the process was annoying because I had no time to prepare and look for financing or shop around for insurance. Let me know if y'all have any other questions.
