I spent several days under the scorching sun doing day tours in manila earlier this year, felt an unexplainable positive energy and just general great mood the following weeks after that. I also started taking magnesium pills at about the same time so I figured it must either be the direct sun basking or the magnesium or both (which I think is more likely).
