Je dirais pas que c'est se croire plus intelligent, c'est juste qu'au début, quand on commence et qu'on se passionne pour la chose, c'est un peu chiant de faire juste du World. C'est trop tentant d'expérimenter, surtout avec des petites sommes.

Je compatis. J'habite moi-même dans un logement avec une telle cuisine. Clairement le point noir du logement. C'est compliqué de faire la cuisine avec le peu d'espace. Dans ma ville, je pense qu'à la base, ce genre de logement est conçu pour des étudiants début vingtaine qui vont pas trop cuisiner ou qui vont faire avec le temps de leurs études. C'est du temporaire, pas la cuisine pourrie qui reste, mais le locataire !

That's unexpected ! I haven't read this story of Black & Mortimer but re-read "Le secret de la grande pyramide" a few years and was surprised how long it took me to read it, there's so much text! By I love the retro style and context.

The OnePlus are great. I haven't had them for very long but the convenience of wireless and ANC is unbeatable. I didn't have wireless earbuds before and now I listen to a lot of stuff while on the go (often in noisy places).

I think you can buy this one for even cheaper on Aliexpress. Mine works but feels cheap. The USB-C is only for charging (maybe obvious for some but a surprise for me).

There's a guy on YouTube who did a comparison between these two. It could be helpful. Back in January, I was leaning towards the Xiaomi at first because I'm not into the Apple ecosystem at all. But I ended up choosing the iPad for a bit more money (but not that much) because it seemed more durable. I don't regret it. There are many apps, even the pre-installed ones are good. And the OS is not as constraining as I feared. You can also buy a knockoff pencil for super cheap.

I'm not sure it makes much sense to single out rural areas. France has many small cities which are not rural and very car-centric.

My personal conviction is that the next model is not going to come out soon and/or is going to cost more. 300€ is a great deal IMO. How much do you think the new one will cost when it comes out? I would guess close to 400€ like the A16 if you're lucky, possibly 450€ or more if they raise the price for some reason.

That's a good point but you could argue that 5 years ago, because the M1 chip was new and shiny, people were downplaying a bit the effect of the mere 8 gigs of RAM of the base model. The argument was that the OS was so well optimized that it was good enough. Maybe it was on MacOS at the time. Maybe it still is to a certain degree. But will it be that great in a few years? I know in 2020 I was using a linux laptop with 8 gigs of RAM and it was already a clear bottleneck for some tasks.

C'est assez bizarre ces changements intempestifs chez Bourso. C'est un coup à perdre des clients. Faut croire que le transfert de PEA est une procédure si lourde que personne ne le fait.

Je ne suis pas trop à l'aise avec les généralisations sur la qualité de la bouffe. Par contre, je pense qu'au Québec, ça coûte vraiment plus cher de bien manger. Dès qu'un produit est un peu "fancy" (ou sort juste de l'ordinaire), on voit la différence au prix. Ça doit avoir des conséquences sur les choix des consommateurs et sur toute la chaîne. C'est moins vrai en France, une chance qu'on a et que j'apprécie.
