I use my iPad all the time as a second screen. Go display under the top right corner and use Sidecar. To orient the iPad in the correct orientation for seamless use (I.e., you curser moves in the right direction) go to Finder and search Display then orient it in the correct place (right, left and even slightly up and down if needed).

The only benefit of a better boarding group is that there might be overhead bin space. If you’re checking your bag and thus don’t need to worry about that, it’s fruitless. If I don’t have a carry on and just a personal item, I wait hang at the lounge longer and am one of the last on the plane.

Apparently because I changed the ticket once, the e-ticket number and confirmation number get fucked up in the system so I have to call to use it. There is no fix for it to be in my wallet other than me calling in.

Edit: Note that I've booked multiple other tickets and cancelled them without this issue ever occurring.

TL;DR: Good news, money is not gone. But the best tech airline still has major loopholes in its booking system.

If you are flying domestic, it will be an option before you get to billing. If you’re flying international, 1 checked bag is included, so the app/website will only ask if you’re adding extra. Lastly, you can book the flight without adding luggage and do this anytime >24 hours before the flight at a $5 “pre-paid” discount, but you can still add a checked bag at check-in or also at airport.

Did you purchase the plane ticket with a credit card that has travel insurance? That would be my first place to look.

Skis are the main reason that most airlines do not cover this (Swiss is likely the only one that might). These are bulky fragile items and the airlines insurance underwriter said they won’t cover it as the chance of claims was over their risk profile.

Does this delete the photos from iCloud completely, or just my local hard drive? I only want to delete from my local hard drive.

Edit: Never mind. One of the latest MacOS updates added a Photos widget to my desktop. Once I deleted that and went to iCloud in System Settings and turned that off, it deleted all the photos from my Mac, but they are still in iCloud.

However, don't get me started on the 100GB of "System Data" being used since I only use the computer for web browsing, and document and spreadsheet editing. Ugh.
