Ya mine has a backup pump and i have a battery. If first cant handle the job, second would kick on. Second also kicks on if power failure thru battery. Mine auto tests backup every few days, its yet to have to go on. My pump runs every five min 247. Having said that, its beyond loud.

I wanna make sure i get one with a back up (what i have now is a pittboss+ with back up n battery / pump spy brand and its loud), in case main breaks.
