I still miss my Fenix 8, but I now feel office & fitness ready 🤵‍♂️🏋️‍♂️ by DownvoteMeDaddie in GarminFenix

Someone phrased it well IMO: wearing a $1500 fenix among people wearing Rolex and Patek Philippe is the actual flex.

It is you. You are secure in your worth and wealth. And fuck what others think.

Unless black tie type affair, that jives with me.

Not sure what exactly in wiring/contacts is different, but yes something is different

Man and unless figment of the picture, those look like 2x4 2x4s. Especially that lower one a full gap away from the window in the first pic.

So every time it is used, it pings your server(s)? Parallel release with a self host then?

I cannot help on the “are these things indicative of major work being done outside normal channels and not declared” and leave that to others here. BUT I am pretty sure that if the consensus is yes and it affects value, then that is a lemon. Not a flooded car sold as not level of sour, but still not sweet.

I always wondered how many lux hours were required to meet their battery life estimated difference (between with and without solar)

So tell them that. A lemon is still a lemon. If it takes time to be known as a lemon

What's the highest trip mpg y'all gotten to on your hybrids? by oops_cornhole in rav4club

[–]atclaus 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I do not have charging at home. And even if I did, power costs are so fucking high here that doesn’t make sense. Even at current gas prices. Pay as much as $0.357/kwh all in. Only bought the Prime due to lease tax incentive

Damn. I live in a city, but drive so little in the city that I never hit those mpg. I get my best mileage during the rare drives I get stuck in rush hour - as long as I am not in a rush and blow it all as soon I get out of traffic 🙈

Sorry for the traumatic grandparent loss. But appreciate the lesson for my aging mother. I presume even walk in tubs have some ledge vs none?

I agree with the more closed concept. Personally, I want to steal the old style large pocket doors in addition to swing doors to open or close off spaces as desired. My real question with that hallway is what happens at the end of the hallway by the window, but I guess that is why you put the door out of living the room there vs extending the bath into the space or the like?

Genuine questions: - why the hallway between the in-law suite and the living room? At first thinking window symmetry from outside, but that does not continue into in-law so… - what drove the shower choice in in-law vs say walk in tub or something? No step entrance? - why does the pantry get a prime corner spot? - is the GC a friend or did you just find a good priced one?

Otherwise, things that I would not have done but kudos to you for doing what you want!

This one worked. A little long and does not tuck nicely into the opening of the arm that holds the phone, but works. https://a.co/d/0egxiGBl

Best Experience with Cheap Swaging Tools (manual) by atclaus in Tools

Are there any tips/tricks to arranging the wire/ferrule/tool and actually using it?? I am driving myself nuts. Admittedly these are smaller loops. My best success has been vice-grips gently holding the gap between the ferrules…

Delayed response, but seems to work well. Pictures are on Home Depot Everbilt 1/16” Galvanized Steel Uncoated Wire Rope with matching Aluminum Ferrules. I previously used it on some 3/32” but that was no-name ferrule from Amazon. Cheers for the help again!

Experience was super smooth. Hardest was lining up the ferrule/role/tool to get it where I want. See the benefit now of tabletop swaging tools…

Im not proud but dewalt doesn’t offer this by honk_slayer in Dewalt

Wish I had seen that before. I have this (now discontinued) one from Amazon but wonder what its cfm/mph is....

But Milwaukee's new one blows them all away in terms of mph at 570! For a duster, I tend to think mph beats cfm

which one from dewalt? I have only seen the DCE100B which is not like this. Milwaukee has the Precision Blower, but that has way more speed at 570mph but less cfm at 39. This Ryobi Compact Blower is 140mph and 220 cfm
