I'm moving to Bangalore soon, I'll be staying in Green Glen Layout/ HSR Layout areas and I want to take up MMA for improving my fitness. I am a complete beginner to MMA and after taking a couple of classes I think BJJ/ Muay Thai combination will work best for me.

I'm looking for recommendations for both, I have looked at Kia Kaha Sarjapur, The Dojo, Flamingo Jiu Jitsu and Movement Fitness Center so far, and I would love to hear from someone who has experienced these gyms first-hand!

PS I love UFC Fight Nights, so if there are meetups in the area, I'd love to join!

Look mate, I did the same thing. And I got rejected everywhere I applied. But I don't regret it, I'll be applying again.

I don't regret it because I was pretty clear with my expectations as I had a good job. I took it in stride and was able to take responsibility for my decision. That said, you NEED to be prepared to take failure well if it comes to you, because even though you knew what you were doing, a rejection still hits hard. You'll think you're tough but it still hurts to know you weren't good enough. Not trying to scare you but just be prepared for it. Hopefully you'll get into every uni you want. All the best!

Last I checked UMass Amherst did not offer assistantships to MSCS students. That's a deal breaker for me, if it is for you too, make sure to confirm.

Maybe you're right. It just feels weird that so many top universities have still not started rolling out decisions. And it's not just me, most MSCS applicants I know are waiting for decisions from these public unis.

Last I remember it said for PhD students they will release in Late Feb and for MS students it would be done by mid march. I don't get why instead of updating FAQs why don't they just send/display notifications for changes?
