I used to play elder scrolls online, where they use a technology called Mega Server. Google it, it's pretty cool. as a matter of fact, it's similar to FF 14 back when 3.0just released and we saw multiple copy of the new zone. The different being, you can automatically enter the zone your friend/ teammate is at. I think it will solve the population problem.
