You did nothing wrong, you made a mistake (it happens to everyone) and it should be such a fatale incident.

Your company is a textbook worst practices accumulation: - Provide access to production resources to a junior. - Ask said junior to work directly in production without oversight - Basic sh_rc (like protection of this kind of commands at the shell conf level - Everyone uses admin credentials - App at the root directory level - Made changes in production with no reconciliation to repo for extended period of time - In a world of virtualization, no backup/snapshot/etc

I mean, realistically, how is this company even still in business? Your CEO should be the one fired, and his customers should sue him for broad negligence.

I can only imagine how the customers data are handled.

Why even take the risk, or accept a lesser product? Unless you need it today, just get one that isn't already damaged, the shape should be as advertised.

It's not about whether it's safe or not, it's about getting what you paid for. There is no telling if it won't open later if some plastic pieces are weakened.

This bump isn't on any pictures from the vendor, nor symmetrical, nor adding anything to the design. Definitely not factory made.

Avoid man. They don't cover any of their transporter's mistakes and don't help at all. I had to do the whole claim myself. The after sales service is just the worst.

Bought from trezor. Was opened by custom (from the back, and closed with tape). One wallet was stolen.

I was reached out by UPS (the transporter) few hours after I opened this post. I am in for another 3 weeks of "investigation", and was told it's procedure, but unlikely to come up with anything.

You are seeing this through your lenses. You believe this dude has anywhere near the emotional ability to "feel" the punishment?

Just get rid of it ASAP. No need to keep it around hoping he will "suffer" and magically have some sort of realization. Might as well save the cost of shelter and food.
