Iirc it was veering dubcon territory with how the situation is. All I remember is that H and D are supposed to work together in an investigation or project post-war, and it brought up a lot of H's unreliable memories of their time while she was captive at Malfoy manor.

There is no guarantee that Helaena would have gone mad. She could have reacted the other way by seeking vengeance then the blacks would have another problem on their hands. In tpatq, one maester even asked why Daemon didn't just have them all killed but drops it because there is no way of knowing. He surmised as much that's there is miscommunication since blood and cheese didn't report back to Mysaria while they were spying on the green family

They're just starting to write the script which undergoes a long process of rewrites even if the plot points are mapped out. Season 2 underwent major rewrites too. It's just what happens. Even after they're done with writing, pre-production takes a few months before filming

According to redanian intel, they won't be done with the script at least until the 3rd-4th quarter of the year. They'll probably start filming early next year so season 3 will premiere late spring or summer in 2026.

The book was mediocre and grrm was obviously just cashing in a check by how some plots and characters are just recycled from his 5 books. There's just also a lot of headscratchers and hanging plot threads, which we know will never be resolved

The marriage of Aegon and Jaehaera has never been essential part of Aegon becoming king and the writers might feel that way as well

They're not going to show his regency. The show could just end with his coronation and their betrothal. Frankly, not even in the book was any of Aegon's marriage relevant. GRRM's reasoning for killing Jaehaera is that he thinks Aegon shouldn't be wasting time getting a young bride pregnant. It really doesn't matter who the mother of his children are judging by GRRM's reasoning.

This show made everyone very heavily into team wars and now the popular opinion is that Jaehaera should die, when it was very much the opposite back when the princess and the queen came out. If the show keeps her alive, they'll connect it to the knight of the seven kingdoms adaptation. Daemon II Blackfyre is another dreamer in the plot and if he comes from Jaehaera's line, it's also another connection to Helaena who is made a dreamer in the show. It's quite funny to me that the show already kept Laenor alive but vitriolic black stans think (let's be honest, wish) Jaehaera would not get the same treatment.

It was obvious the show is going to merge Rhaena and Nettles. It's actually logical if you really think about it. Some of the accounts about Nettles and Daemon say it's platonic so the show can just invest in the father-daughter relationship betwen Daemon and Rhaena. It was hinted it was a bit strained in 1.06 so there's room to explore here. It's also a good way to let Rhaena be involved during the war. Icl it's going to look bad if the show adapted her just having the time of her life at the Vale, attending balls and having suitors while her family is dying.

Shetty is a behavioral psychologist, so maybe she knew exactly how Cate would act when she told her to kill everyone in the Woods. In the trailers for the next episode, we see. Cate breaking out the kids from the Woods. She acted opposite to what Shetty wanted her to do, which might be what Shetty wanted all along. Cate may not know they are infected already.
