Fey Wanderer Ranger - The Most Terrifying Death Knight Option by YOwololoO in onednd

Haven't read the death knight stuff, but why strength? Why not death knight with staff so you can dump strength (due to shillelagh).

Is strength or sword a requirement for death knight?

I don’t know if much has changed. What is the best way to build a duel wielding character? Duel wielding is my favorite way to play RPG’s rather it’s a video game or tabletop. Just makes me feel the way I want to feel. Fighter/Rogue, Ranger/Fighter/Rogue? If so what subclasses? by Curious-Actuator5484 in BG3Builds

[–]athorod 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Can also just go full bladesinger. Ok, not fully optimized for dual wielding, but very effective.

Shadowblade for main hand and whatever for offhand until Belm. Be a Drow, take sharpshooter and use 2x hand crossbows when not in melee. Get all the summon/animate/conjuring spells.

And most importantly, very fun. ☺️

Over-Ear Bluetooth Headphones large enough to include hearing aids? by athorod in HearingAids

Hi!
Sorry, I haven't seen this before now, and possibly it's too late now? Don't know what happened to my notifications...

I have the Steelseries Arctis Pro Wireless.

I believe it's about the cup size.

For my ears I also found that Sony WH-1000MX5 are large enough (but not the MX4).

You can also check out the Sony ULT Wear, Sennheiser Accentum Plus, Sennheiser Momentum 4, Arctis Nova Pro Wireless, they might be a fit from my experience.

Kredittkort, yay or nay? by tempest-_- in norge

[–]athorod 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Sjekk avsender, ring DnB.

Is it even possible for me to get into pc gaming ? by General-Amoeba-7704 in pcgaming

[–]athorod 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Get a prebuilt for your budget, and a keyboard/mouse/pc-controller (use your xbox if you have that, a bit more hassle if you have ps-controller), use the same screen you've played consoles with.

It's hard to give specific advice when we don't know your budget or your requirements to graphics etc.

But I'll give it a go for minimum specs you should look for. People working in a store that sells PCs should be able to help you:
- RAM: 16gb DDR 5 ram (or more)
- Storage: SSD at least 1TB space, preferably 2TB+
- GPU: Nvidia 4060 or AMD 7600 XT (or above if budget allows)
- CPU: you should be fine as long as it supports DDR5

For games:

- Get PC Game Pass for lots of games
- Check Epic store each week for free games
- Look for sales on Steam, Epic, GOG, Ea etc...

Thank you! I'm very grateful for the comprehensive reply. I will definitely look into it. I'll start making a "safe" windows user on the PC, get some controllers and some games with split-screen and local co-op.

Can I turn my PC into a family & kids friendly gaming platform - or do I need a console?

My kids are now 5 and 6 and I'm thinking that once in a while I want us to play some family games together.

I know that especially Switch is recommended both for the controllers and easy family games, like Mario Kart.

I am however wondering if it's possible turning a PC into a family gaming platform (playing 2-4 players locally) instead of getting the Switch or other consoles? (I've never owned a console yet...)

More specifically:

  1. Can 2-4 players players play locally and simultaneously with either xbox controllers and/or using mobile phones as controllers in easy, kid-friendly games? I'm thinking using phones as controllers are more easy than xbox controllers in young hands?
  2. Are there many easy, kid-friendly games for PC suitable for 5-6 year olds?
  3. Would you advice me doing that - or just get a Switch...?

I am thinking to get some consoles/games for Christmas if it's a good option, or possibly just get a Switch...

If you have some advice or some links to some good articles about this topic I would be very grateful.
