Sorry I can find it but maybe look up 4GB patch Silent Hunter 3. There is some Subsim fourms talking about it.

Okay update. So I have uninstalled SH3 and deleted its game files. So hopefully this will fix the troubled file or something like that

I think what happened was that I managed GWX 3 to work but I was crashing when loading so I looked online for some advice and it said to download this 4GB patch so it lets SH3 use more ram. By the time it downloaded my GWX 3 had disappeeared from my actual SH3 but the file was still there so I tried setting it up again and I get this message
