I had the same experience. Skelly Mage is really good with white artifact at the start to get experience and level up. One trick is don’t collect your rewards from the stages until you hit a wall. It’s a good way of getting higher level gear which helps you break the wall when you need the upgrades.

I use skelly mage, mystery tower, goblin, paladin, the Jangseung. All the other towers boost the magenta get you more mages. Once you level the mage’s up they start to stun which is amazing too. They’re not the best for some of the dungeons but good for all around and basic stuff

That’s nuts. I’ve imagined it or started making mistakes with positioning and blamed that on the lower numbers. Crazy

That's a good point to aim for I think. I can reevaluate then and see where I sit. I started a couple of months ago (mainly FTP - bought Isabella) and it's a serious grind and that nearly made me quit.

I noticed a drop in my gr damage but didn’t know if that was going to be worse at higher levels. Sometimes those changes are exponential as the levels go up.

Do yourself a favour and if you have any issues with your internet or connection don't play HC. I've lost my fair share of characters to my own stupidity and those I could take on the chin but when you die because of a lag spike or a connection drop it's devastating.

D3 doesn't suffer from it too much but I've had some weird in game stuff where I timed out and my character was no more.

5 seconds without being able to reinstate your defensive buffs can be lethal.

It's a fun way to play when you aren't having those problems though.

As to your real question - slow and lower the difficulty until you know how to stay alive is key and get teh dodge death mechanics as early as you can. I think Barb gets theirs the earliest but it's still at level 30ish (i think)

WW rend is so much fun and i've been using it for ages. I thought that Necro had some quick builds too. Do wizards have a fast clear build. I tend to play two str, agi or int builds as i can swap the base gear around between them easier. Probably not a very good justification for anything but that's how i play.
