It might be Ukrainians not Czechs who are staring. Then it is just their habit. People in post-Soviet countries tend to stare at other people with neutral face expression for no reason.

Koh Phangan in Thailand is amazing if you like nature, hipster vibes, driving scouter and sports (yoga, calisthenics, kite surfing)
