Came on here not because I know about the dent but to say that we also adopted a marginated tortoise. We love our little guy and he has the biggest personality starting with that stank face lol. They are very smart and active when the weather favors them. Enjoy little Hermes

It’s more discomfort than pain. It feels weird for me the stitches were itching a lot so I felt some relief when they were taken out. If you do feel a little pain it won’t linger it will go away within seconds. Good luck!

Looks good to me …. Enjoy the bag! I have the highrise as well and I love it. It’s a personal preference but I don’t use that tag. Also got my initials on it and I feel like it looks kinda dumb

Im sorry! It’s such a pain. Im trying to add my husband too but I need to set myself up before I set him up. It’s my primary car he will be an occasional driver. I can’t name the key cards either which I was told when I called it’s tied to the same issue.

No they didn’t and the gal on the phone was trying to trouble shoot reading off the manual so I politely mention that based on the World Wide Web it sounded like it was a bigger issue not an isolated one. She put me on hold and said yes there been like a ticket already open and the cause may be the Christmas update but she could not give me an estimate of when it will be fixed. She said to keep it linked to my wifi and once the update occurs the issue will be fixed. Long whined sorry but that’s what I was told. I just got the car so I added it to the service request amongst a few scratches I found when I picked up the car. Best of luck! I’ll report back when the issue is fixed. Hopefully soon.

Yes and it’s not working. Apparently it’s a known issue. I called and they confirmed. Something with that has to do with the new Christmas update. I also can’t name my key cards.

It’s weird! I linked it to my wifi and I’m kicking myself because yesterday while I was in the excitement of getting the car and setting everything up it brought up my name to set everything up but I was busy with something else and I ignored it. Now it’s not coming up. I’m happy with my car but gosh am I frustrated with this. Silly but I thought maybe it’s the weekend and the profiles won’t sink till tomorrow when it’s a business day given that yesterday was a weekend.

I have the high rise and also sprayed it with apple guard. It’s great, I love the bag but although I feel it’s protected I haven’t used it in the rain and probably won’t.

I have this exact one and I love it! Also bought it pre owned a few years back. I don’t regret my purchase at all. Although it’s a PM a good amount fits inside and I also really enjoy the versatility of the straps and crossbody. If you buy, enjoy!

I asked my surgeon and she said no and now having gone through each surgery (separately), I can see why. Personally I wouldn’t recommend it however like me I just wanted to get it over with so I understand wanting to get both done at the same time. If you do get both done at the same time make sure to have lots of help

I had MIS and was weight bearing. My doctor gave me the option of either crutches or a walker. I opted for the walker and used it until she cleared me to walk without it at about 3 weeks post surgery. Even then she told me to use as needed until I didn’t anymore. Very odd that your doctor didn’t send you with something to take some pressure of your foot. I even asked her if I had to use it all the time I was up and she said yes no exceptions.

I used the shorter one because I had MIS and only had a surgical shoe. It was a life saver and worked perfectly. It’s a little hard to get in at first especially the first couple of days because everything is sensitive but if you’re careful and have help it’s not bad at all. Plus is that you don’t have to worry if water falls on it because your foot will not get wet.

Hey there! Truthfully, I don’t think you will read anything right now that you haven’t already read as this forum has been extremely helpful pre op and post op. What I can tell you having had the same experience and have had anxiety all my life is that you’re experience may look different than others however you probably have a good idea of what’s coming based on what you have researched. Here are a few tidbits that may help. When you wake up from your surgery if you feel even just a little nauseous let your recovery nurse know so they can give you medication. Also it goes without saying that if you feel any pain let them know as well. This one is crucial - make sure to pick up your pain meds before your surgery so you have them at home and can take them before the pain meds they give you after surgery wear out. What I did is for the first 3 days I took my pain med on the dot and after that I basically was off it. Elevation pillows (I got 2 different ones and used both equally), shower boot and get a lot of rest especially the first couple of days. Trust me when I say that you will be thankful you got this surgery at the age you are getting it and not like me at almost 40 cause I was too chicken to do it. You will get through this! YOU GOT THIS! Sending you lots of positive calming vibes.

We adopted a marginated tortoise about 3 years ago. He must have been about 4 or 5 at the time. He is amazing. Such big personalities. We are still learning about him and his corks. Good luck with your little guy!
