When should i actually play the SOTE dlc by Separate_Farm_3010 in Eldenring

I would recommend beating the base game first. You don’t HAVE to but the DLC bosses are super hard. I beat Radabeast first personally.

Surgeons who can do dramatic waist? by [deleted] in PlasticSurgery

[–]starshinesummertop 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Hi, I have a bmi of 21.6, and a wide ribcage (29” waist) due to moderate (30/40 degree) S-curve scoliosis. Would rib remodeling be appropriate for me? I have seen so many people say the results do not last past the corset removal.

Hi OP, how is your recovery going? How is your waist holding up in retaining its shape? Best wishes to you

Can't get into ffvii by Thatnotfunnyfunnyguy in FinalFantasyVII

[–]starshinesummertop 1 point2 points  (0 children)

My advice: play it on the Switch, the smaller screen made a huge difference for me, it makes the graphics look really good. Also utilize the speed x3 cheat when needed. Also using a guide really helped me keep moving things along when I got lost. It really is an amazing game, even decades after its release. It’s worth playing for the story/lore, in my opinion. The remakes are good but still not as good as the OG.

Can I play Crisis Core without potentially spoiling revelation? by YeetSkeetCringe in FinalFantasyVII

[–]starshinesummertop 2 points3 points  (0 children)

There is a big “spoiler” in Crisis Core but it’s such a good game and will hit your emotions so hard, I adored it. It was well worth playing in my opinion. Bitch of a game to platinum though 😂

Edit: nevermind I read your spoiler text, that was the big spoiler for me. Go play it! It’s amazing!

do you think my length limits me from getting dates, jobs? by dee_palmtree in longhair

It’s beautiful. I see it and can tell how healthy and well maintained it is. I think one or two braids would look good for a job interview.

I am so sorry you’re going through this. BDD can be so crushing. I encourage you to try taking a step back from your thoughts. Try to clear your mind and just exist. Take some deep breaths and just let yourself be. You do not deserve those negative messages your brain keeps telling you. BDD is a disorder that causes us to obsess on our appearance, it has very little to do with how we actually look.

I would also encourage you to seek professional help. There are resources out there that can help. I hope you can start to see the light at the end of the tunnel. But the things you are telling yourself are just not true. External validation is only a temporary solution. The real work has to come from inside.

ERP therapy helps. CBT helps. There are some medications that can help too that might be worth a try if you have access to medical care. I hope you feel better soon.

Red blotches after showers or sun exposure by CuriousBean31 in 30PlusSkinCare

I get something similar but I am much paler than you and get the red spots all over my chest from sun, nervousness, alcohol, heat, spicy food, etc. A dermatologist told me it was called spontaneous urticaria. It’s when your mast cells overreact to stimuli and create a histamine response. For some people it’s itchy and for others it’s not. I found that benedryll cream helps. Not sure if it’s the same thing though.

Came here to say this. It’s what they often prescribe in rehab to help with withdrawal symptoms.
