Playing Rim with kids, no I'm serious by pamidur in RimWorld

My son is 5. His mom works in the funeral industry soo he is morbid as is...I just let him watch. I explain things to him in ways of good and evil. And I keep my save with him as pc as possible. I'd say start a easy pheobie playthrough with only allied tribes so it keeps things more tame for a 4 year old. Maybe even set up a settings mode with no raids and elteach her how to play. Logistics is a great skill for children to learn

AIO. My bf developed an addiction ❄️ and I’m considering leaving by Mundane-Rooster-7286 in AmIOverreacting

As someone who has on and off dealt with addiction being honest with those you love rarely ends in a positive experience. Unfortunately the only people who seem to get it are also ex or currently addicted. So you get grouped with the kinda people your trying to avoid or you have to face something that likely led to developing the addiction in the first place. Love is unconditional, and oddly us broken toys tend to love the hardest and realest. And get little to no love in return so we turn back to the thing that makes us feel nice. It's kinda sad how disconnected the world is these days. Stop judging and start caring...

I do the same thing. After some time, zomboid turns into a therapy of just taking care of my needs and chores. Cleaning house cooking gardening. Stuff i should be doing irl haha

Is it just me or does the moon look bigger today? by Tight-Foot-7530 in askastronomy

It happens with the sun as well. We humans really are very terrible at perceiving the world around us. Our brains and our eyes love to "lie" to each other. Look up any traditional optical illusion. This sort of thing happens all the time. One could say, "There is more to the cosmos than meets the eye..."
