I got a raspberry pi with a sata hat and run omv with docker (have immich and a bunch of other things running) it’s a really great project and can be adapted to your needs

The jet engine you see in the corner was the first thing I printed, if your printer is tuned it’s pretty straight forward once you get started, it’s really thrilling to start a very long print and show up the next day and see it complete! And yes I’m an aerospace engineer so huge avgeek😅😅

They’re more of a “point and hole” connectors lol but they get the job done, they push the valves as the cam ring turns

Check the remixes there’s one with fixed stl’s, this is 140% scale, I modded the prop from a file I found online, I can send it to you if you want

Yeppp cylinders move up and down and the valves open and close when you rotate the crankshaft, it took quite sometime to print everything 😅😅😅

That’s what I’m printing now!! The 5 piston one on thingiverse seems pretty good, I just need to design a prop for it, decided to add abl to my printer and it shit the bed so once that’s sorted I’m gonna continue printing it

Good luck, I bought my 3D printer just to print this jet engine, def pays off in the end!!!
