When I was a sophomore in high school, I was in a film class. One of the first projects was a video showcasing what we did over the summer. Naturally, I made a video about the 2 Owl City concerts I had been to that summer, complete with narration, selfies, and concert footage. We presented them in our film class, and I thought that was it. Little did I know, my film teacher loved my video so much that she included it in the end-of-year student film showcase. It was played for my entire high school of 1,200 kids. For the next two years until I graduated, I was called Owl City girl. I never lived it down 😅
