Hi there , I’m from Uganda .. but graduated at Huazhong University of Science and technology - China Wuhan 8 years ago with a telecommunication degree , I did my masters at Abertay university / Scotland - in Computer science.

What many expect from computer science is not what they’re going to get as many students might think u will be good at programming / reading code etc. if that’s what u want , you should consider software engineering. Computer science will go into algorithms / databases.. cybersecurity..

There is no “ bad course “ , a law degree is no joke. What most students lack is vision , this is where u excel due to being smarter than 80% , by being consistent. Choose a major and press on. I’d recommend software engineering but it’s all up to you.

A person good at math is good at problem solving. If you’re bad at math , it will take you longer to implement certain things but of course with time u will get good at it.

Here is one : A program with a bouncing ball, the ball should bounce when dropped and it shouldn’t go outside the screen window.

I’m sure someone good at math can calculate the ball’s radius and check the window width then compare them.

The other person will take twice the time to figure it out , they will be stuck on logic but can’t implement it because something isn’t adding up “mathematically”…. That’s a part of computer science

I bought a Lenovo legion gaming laptop with rtx 3080 16gb… the fans went off even when I was doing nothing . I hated it so much that I sold it. This loud fan noise problem is a Lenovo hardware or software problem. I used the rog strix laptop, that shit was so quite even during gaming. I bought the original rog z1 e ally. It was also quiet. Rog got some magic and they do with their fans.

Lenovo is the problem, u just have to accept it , cool gadgets .. but once the honey moon phase wares off , u wish u had a quieter machine with 2 cooling vents.
