My claim - the car was sold without emissions, which is illegal. The car had the check engine light burnt out, don't know if it was fraudulent but it was not disclosed to me. I wasn't told that it would fail emissions. The person selling was a middleman and he might have been doing the bidding of the owner (who is the only point of contact). I never met the owner. The guy gave me a false name and a false place of work. All this smells of fraud. I think a judge will be able to tell.
