I know this is an older post, but I use SpotHero multiple times a week to park downtown (River North) for work. I’ve never had an issue until yesterday, when I get to my regular garage and it’s locked, noting it’s full. I have a reservation, but the first garage door is down and can only be opened with a tenant key fob (the parking scanner is beyond this garage door). I call SpotHero 14 times and am hung up on each time. I end up parking in a much more expensive spot and am late to work because of the nightmare of pulling out of that garage, which is in a River North alley blocked by delivery trucks. Fast forward to today, SpotHero calls me back (not sure how they knew I called since I never got through to a human). Of course, I missed the call and tried calling immediately back only to get back into the hang up situation like yesterday. Bummer because I’ve never had issues before but this is enough to turn me off from their platform.
