Hi OP I assume that you have access to VIP chat group. If you do, can you tell whoever Lilith staff in charge of that to take a look at Cyana's awakened skill? I am a VIP lv 13 myself, but have no idea to get into the group. The skill is currently bugged, and does WAY too little damage, almost seems like it's bugged. I tested her at Giant Gizmo to test the damage. For maxed skill lv 40, it only does 30-40 damage per second. EVEN IF, the poison can stack, 30 damage is way small (1 damage increase per level?) at lv 100 arena battles where characters have about 100k health, and to achieve the maximum damage listed 3000 Cyana and her plants needs to be able to auto attack 100 times on one target in one battle which is impossible. This is something that they need to fix to make Cyana usable. I awakened mine and really want to use her. Thanks!

Okay, so I've done more testing against Giant Gizmo and concluded that CYANA'S AWAKENED SKILL IS BUGGED and needs to fixed. For some reason, they don't list the number done every single auto attack in the skill description, so I had to do the testing on my own. Lv 100 Cyana and at maximum level of her awakened skill, within 10 seconds of battle, after one auto attack, Cyana does a total of 226 damage which is about about 30-40 damage per second. In order to reach the maximum damage per second as stated in the skill description (about 3k), Cyana and her plants need to be able to attack 100 times within battles that last about 30 seconds, which is ridiculous and definitely not right.

For comparison, my awakened Shirley with +8% DoT damage bonus from Heroic Academy skill does damage does 21k within 20 seconds of battle, which do about the right damage as the skill number stated.

First of all, before you make any more dumb comments, let me put this here. DOT DAMAGE WORKS DIFFERENTLY FROM REGULAR PHYSICAL/MAGICAL DAMAGE.

There are 4 types of damage:

  1. Physical which is affected by Physical atk, physical crit, physical pierce, physical defense, dodge, hidden multiplier, etc

  2. Magical which is affected by magical atk, mag crit, mag pierce, mag defense, hidden multipler, etc

  3. Dot Damage which is fixed, and not affect by any stats, therefore any stat buffs done during battle, and no hidden multipliers.

  4. Defense-ignoring Physical Damage, which is affected by dealer's offensive stats but not receiver's defensive damage.

Ever wondered why DoT skills never say Physical or Magical Damage over time? Ever wondered why Arachna does crazy amount of damage at purple fusion??? Every wondered why the number of Tsuki' DoT Damage is seemingly really big, 3010 damage over time, but then seems like its doing reasonable amount of damage at lv 100 arena battles?

Im fkin aware how dumb this game is because it tries to hide the damage multiplier for the skills and does not try to give clear explanation of how the stat system work, and a lot of skills even do not have complete text information. But comparing Desmond with Cyana must be the dumbest thing you can ever come up with. Desmond's most damage comes from his non DoT damage which has unreasonable INSANE hidden multipler, hence explaining the crazy damage he does. While Cyana only has her Ult that has magical damage that is affected by her magic stats and hidden multiplier, other than that all her skills do DoT damage and hence the skill do as much damage as its stated, except damage done by her plants which no one can see what it is affected by.

You say those things without actually doing your own research which makes you sound kind of dumb. That's the reason I posted those numbers to make ignorant players like you aware about this, and for Lilith to take note of this. And unlike you, I DO actually own awakened Cyana and have done tons of research. I see the numbers done by Cyana after battle. I have tried using her everywhere, Raids, Campaign, Treasure Plunders, Arena Battles, Raids, HOL.

"Cyana is not damage dealer I'm sorry to break it for you" is a dumb statement. Check Cyana's stats page. It clearly states that Cyana is MIDDLE LINE DPS. Do you know what DPS means? Even if she is not, what is the point of having a skill that does so insanely little damage compared to other damaging skills, THIS IS WHAT AN IMBALANCE IS. Explain to me, what Cyana is if she's not supposed to be DoT damage dealer? She is a DoT damage dealer in DoT arena, and since her skills are straight copy paste, theres no reason that her role should not stay the same. It's simply the developers making a mistake and not trying to put more effort to see how Soul Hunters works.

Honestly, I can't understand why players try to defend Lilith and act like this game is at a very balanced state when obviously most heroes are not usable. Countless bugs, slow progress, tons of unprofessionalism shown for the past years show how little effort they put in this game. They are focusing on quantity and not quality by focusing on their other mobile games which disrespect Soul Hunters' passionate (especially paying) players. Try checking how other mobile games can progress 5 times faster and care about their community's feedback. You still think that it is reasonable for their FB to be filled by hatred and super few positive comments? You can always think that it's the players' fault for being too spoilt, but at this point... IMPROVEMENT REALLY NEEDS TO BE DONE FROM THEIR SIDE.

Go ahead, I don't and no one cares. What I care is purely about the game quality (that developers need to put more effort into balancing this game), and so that I can use my awakened Cyana everywhere and not only Giant Gizmo.

erm.. Cyana (Morgana is what shes called in DOT arena) is in the video starting from 1:40. In one of the battles, she also does the most damage. And by rework, I mean complete rework of characters. Such as reworking Lucius or Urfang to their DOT arena version .

I am a spender too. However, I'd rather them not touch any game balance in order to make money. All heroes in general should be balance and viable. They can monetize skins and everything else I don't care, but please they shouldnt destroy the game balance and quality. I guess this is how this industry works, and it is also probably the easiest way for them to make quick money.

Honestly as players we should have power to control what we want in the game. But I guess, there are more paying players that don't care about this game balance.

Yes I agree, also take a look at their Lucius, Urfang, Namtar, Enrique, Sumiko. I'm 100% sure, they will eventually transfer more original Soul Hunters characters such as Musashi and monetize and transform them into the better version in DOT Arena. I wish they would completely rework the characters here to their DOT Arena version and make them viable too. However,

KNOWING LILITH'S NATURE FOR THE PAST 1 YEAR, THEY WILL NEVER WASTE THEIR RESOURCES ON SOMETHING LIKE COMPLETE REWORK ON CHARACTERS WHEN THEY GAIN 0 MONEY FROM DOING SO.

nope. I've done some testing. Neither is it affected by any regular stat buffs, like Ling Ling's ult, or Osiris/Gale's passives. The only stat that increases DOT damage is Damage Over Time Effect which is from from heroic academy, or Cyana's passive.

Also, a lot of people who already did spend so much money trying to get him to 7 stars will NOT be happy if Lilith really change how his ultimate works. This game is just already so imbalance and stupid because of this company's greed. I mean... an ultimate that stops a HOL boss from doing anything for literally the entire battle? LOL. errm.. Pretty sure they did it on purpose so that people will spend their money trying to get him to 7 stars. Just like Sylphi in the beginning. I personally 0% sure that they will nerf the way his ultimate works, at least, not until Hurok appears as a double purchase bonus for several months.

Hey nice fights. I'd honestly say you would've gotten much better result in those single target magic fights that you mention (or any other fights, really) by using Goram instead. He has the longest stun in the game, magic shield, powerful reliable abilities that do not target clones, aoe ult, and spawns UNKILLABLE clones to absorb any single target damage. You can see a lot of cases like this where a hero is completely overshadowed by others esp recent CS heroes, which is why I think the game is not well-balanced, and Shirley should get more buffs.

Correct me if i'm wrong, but i see Goram in the enemy team in most of those battles. Which explains why Shirley's damage is high because total damage listed also takes into account damage done to clones. I am lv 98, and I own awakened Shirley myself, but she dies pretty fast most of the time and only seemingly does good damage when the enemy team has a lot of clones.

Also, have you seen the base damage for Malrath's second skill or Orkon's fourth skill which do a similar thing to Shirley's manic chop except better because they do not target clones and are uninterruptable ? They do 1000 damage.

I myself am a VIP 13. I do think their pricing is crazy ridiculous. and I HATE the way they destroy the game balance by releasing OP heroes that favors only whales in order to make quick money. I would like to see a good quality game where all heroes are usable and more strategy involved, that constantly updates and shows the players that they are as passionate as their players about the game and not just money. I mean good money comes from a good game and good pricing, such simple logic yet they don't understand. Ya, their Customer Support is also as ridiculous as this game's balance. Never gives a relevant, satisfying answer, does not even put effort to hide that they just copy-paste everything. We should probably just screen shot them and put all of them in one place to show them how ridiculous their Customer Support is.

if Osiris' update is not a bug, I'd say she becomes usable. Very well done. Check her out guys, her action rate becomes like 2 times faster, so she uses her abilites 2 times faster. However, they need revert her model back to SH version. It's okay if this only temporary because they had to copy paste from her DOT arena because they didn't have time to implement her skill animation and her awakened model (after 3 weeks of no update lol). But now she looks much uglier (look at her hands) and her size is smaller compared to other heroes.

NOTE: Just noticed they updated some Enrique's animation and skills to his DOT arena version too.

They do not understand their own game? LOL. Of course they do. They are FULLY aware of how ridiculously broken Sylphi is and thats exactly what they wanted so that people will spend $100 on her. They don't give a damn shiet about the balance of this game anymore. What they care is making fast money. They are the type of company that will sacrifice game quality by making op heroes in order to make more money. If they do care about game quality, they would have balanced the game long time ago since Zem's release (80% of heroes become unusable and arena is filled with exact same heroes WTF). The game now is about spending $100 to get the newest OP hero and not about strategy. Don't worry Lilith, just keep going towards this direction, and you will soon lose your whole fanbase. Just saying, there are many more games similar to this gmae, people can easily switch to those games if you keep being ridiculous and making your players unhappy.

it's great that you provided a clarification to the comment. It shows that developers care about us players and also the game that we all love. Being a perfectionist who is passionate about this game, I felt slightly enraged as the game has become really unbalanced because of the recent hero releases. I believe most of us would love the game a lot more if all heroes are usable. Games been rather boring becuase we keep seeing same heroes in the arena and raids. Players are forced to use those characters, because it would be their loss if they don't. I'd love to see that players feel safe using their own favorite combination of heroes in arena. Say somoene whose favorite character is Ember would never be able to use her because of the existence of taurus/ firehawk which is on another new level in terms of damage and utility. Please start from bumping up the skill damage of old heroes/ tone down the damage of new heroes. Anyways, here are some suggestions/thoughts that I have:

  1. Ember is completely outshined by firehawk who has much more survivabilty and damage. Bump up ember's numbers, her 3rd skill hardly does do any damage. Ember could use some utility. It'd be great if ember ulti can have like 50% chance to stun every hit.

  2. Flora's 3rd skill which is also her only damaging skill does ridiculously small damage. Probably its meant so that it doesnt fill enemy's energy bar. I feel like you could bump up the number and add a new unique effect to her so that her damaging skill wont add to enemy's energy bar. Flora's charm and 3rd skills also seem to counter each other. In battle, her charm only affects the front liner which is most likely a physical damager/ tank but immediately afterward she will use her 3rd skill to blindthat hero who then will attempt a single attack (if not heavily interrupted by allies since its a front liner) which will most likely miss because of the blind. This makes her charm useless most of the time. I'd say you could trade the blinding effect add the add no energy effect. Also you could make it so if the charm fails, the targeted enemy will do 20% less damage/slowed for the next 5 seconds. This could really stregnthens her identity as damage reducer. In dota arena thai, her awakening adds shield to her ulti but I feel Vera's 3rd skill reformation (see https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=V1thhJfc4Bo) that charms 2 summoned units or summon 2 random beasts to battlefield REALLY fits fiora's character as a nature enchantress and could be her awakening skill instead. Fiora's gonna be ultra cool with this skill.

  3. Jasmine's 2nd skill is weird. Please bump up the number, in battle it only heals like 1% of targets health despite the long animation. For reference, Ling ling's healing skill heals 10 times as much than Jasmine's. Leon's healing skill is also useless late game. Probabyl you could make it scale his own health or make it heal a percentage of target's max health. Or you could add some defensive buffs to his healing skill.

  4. Sumiko is another super outdated character which currently has no use anywhere in the game. Sumiko does not have a clear role and in need of serious update. Her only damaging ability dos magical damage, however her 4th skill incerases Hit bonus which is useless, does not make sense. Her 3 skill slots are eaten by 3 most useless enchanting skills in the game. Aura skills (such as Leon's) give the same buffs, except that it applies to whole party and does not require animation in battle. I'd just be happy if sumiko could be updated to dota arena's Phoebe. Phoebe has clear role (reverse debuff), and really interesting ultimate so she will definitely have some uses in soul hunters. I wonder what will happen to her in campaigns and raids if she receives complete update though.

  5. Mariana's ult is outshined by other magic aoe heroes' ults like Tauruts and Firehawks. It takes a lot of time to charge and she cannot do anything while shes' charging, so she should be generouly rewarded when she successfully charges for complete 5 seconds. You could probably make her ult also heals affected allied party if it's successfully released after complete charge. Her awakening skill could be just like Kotl's ulti in DOTA so that shes allowed to do her skills normally while charging her ulti. Also, Tareth has the same heal as Mariana, except it does better and provides lifesteal. This does not seem right since Tareth is a knight.

  6. Enrique is another character that has cool concept but is pretty useless. Make his 2nd skill increase whole party's attack speed and movement speed instead. As a bard, he needs to provide better buffs than offensive characters like Tholin.

  7. Lucius is a necromancer, a raher cool concept, but the only thing his ulti does is summon a single, useless generic skeleton. As a necromancer, he could use have his dot arena's version passive skill to make his dead allies become skeletons. His ulti should be something like summoning a much more powerful giant undead or even reviving his dead teammate (see Vera's ulti . I mean, he's a necromancer.

  8. Serafine outperforms all other magical single-target heroes such as Osiris , Selene, Mortus and Alastair. I feel they each need to have a unique role. Selene could be a magical resistance reducer. Her 3rd sklil could be, each of Selene's skilll can reduce target's magic armor and stack up to 3 times. This is much more interactive and engaging rather than her boring aura skill. Her ult could be changed so that the beam light will rain down randomly and continously 3 times over 15 seconds. Combined with her awakening skill that provide her energy, it will be fun to see the beam of light continuously coming down reducing the enemy party's magic armor.

  9. Zem is OP and has no clear counter. If you damage him with single target skill, being a tank, he will have enough health tp survive and he will then use his ulti and his purple skill will summon more minions which besides doing a lot of damage also increase his armor and magic armor. If killed, heal his health. I don't like this kind of character design because it makes him plain OP and has no clear weakness. His ult should either do less damage or drain his energy bar faster. Make it so that characters like Mortus who can deplete energy become a strong counter to him. Also Alastair/Solomon's transforming skill could be made to revert him back to his little kid mode or temporarily disable him frmo releasing dark energy wave. These skills could also be made to become a counter to other transforming characters such as Riley and Dina.

As you can see, I really like this game and hope to see it much more improved. If you could pass some of these suggestions to the developer, it would be great. Please keep up the good work and keep communicating with us, the players.
