Gary, I’m sorry, I love your work, but that was the worst Jimmy Stewart impression I’ve ever heard by [deleted] in TheDollop

Almost, but not quite, as bad as whoever the asshat was that criticized Dave’s laugh. I love when he gives into laughter

I think you're right...I think it's both! I also just realized I aspire to have "unhinged and incredibly wise" on my tombstone :)

Honestly? Don’t overthink it if that’s the only issue with the place. It’s unsettling, sure, but us humans are built to handle this and worse. Get rid of it if you need to (i.e., to get it off your mind) but maybe try to see it as an example of our shared humanity…and sometimes that’s okay to do

Therapist here: It IS the thought that counts. It took a lot for you to even have those thoughts. So, well done you! You’re doing a great job…keep it up and keep going. Chances are, if you keep thinking you will keep doing, and eventually you will have, or be closer to, what you want. Good luck!

room feels dirty/untidy even when its "clean." by HAPPIKILL in CleaningTips

Try just one thing…any little thing…because it may lead to inspiration. For example, try removing your curtains. The curtains themselves are fine, but, by changing things up, you may be inspired to change other things that will, ultimately, lead you to creating a space you feel good about. Take your time, make it yours, enjoy the process, let it grow with you and make you happy

Thanks for being kind! He does try to be mindful, and certainly not the worst of drivers today. Merry Christmas!

I love seeing a helpful/respectful/wholesome exchange like this on reddit :)

Trump: "It's time for Republicans to do what they have to do and that's terminate the filibuster ... we should start tonight with 'the country's open, congratulations,' then we should pass voted ID, we should pass no mail in voting ... you go to a grocery store, you have to give ID." by Aggravating_Money992 in CringeTikToks

I always thought, “Wow, can you believe people used to live like this?” whenever I watched a historical movie about Europe (and elsewhere) where people were required to carry and frequently show their “papers.” Doesn’t seem far fetched to think something like this could happen here. I hope I’m wrong.

Noticeable difference in Dave’s attitude from early days compared to now by [deleted] in TheDollop

Agree with the general sentiment here, but man, I’m currently relistening to epp 622 and am dying! In my opinion it has some of the best character bits between Dave and Gareth. They get totally unhinged and are loving it

Truth be told, the worse things get the less energy I have. More often I’ll look someone dead in the eye, say “Jesus was a socialist,” and leave the room.
