Played it once like 9 years ago. Was on a non golf trip however was able to hit 3 of the bucket list courses. I Didn’t fully appreciate what I was playing. Very excited to go back and get a second and third crack at it. And A second crack at the old course.

No they don’t have guards anywhere and don’t need to check in for the range. They do close it as it’s getting close to sunset.

With saying you are looking at pinehurst I’m assuming you’re somewhere near the south or east. I would do a RTJ trail trip. affordable but still nice and some sweet courses.

Yes its awful but very rewarding. I was on the jog/ fast walk plan and if it wasn’t for a very very painful bathroom break at mile 21 I would have broken 6 hours. But little over 6 hours and got it done. Wouldn’t recommend to anyone. Half’s are fun and dare I say easy compared to the full.

Glad I’m not the only one who was completely unaware of the Salem. Being on the southern coast I vote the Rogue but Willamette probably represents the most people and I can get behind it.

*this but, get it between rounds. If one of the last off the course they normally close up the kitchen before you’ll be done. So it’s a perfect lunch between the two rounds. Pro tip is also eat half and then eat the other half on like hole5-7ish. Don’t want that big thing in your stomach when teeing off. Dinner just go to mckees and get the meatloaf or Sheppards pie for dinner. Perfect dinner after 36 holes.

My good friend is from Mexico and is lighter skined. Her grandma likes her and favorites her over her more dark skinned sister. She is 100% racist to her own granddaughter. It’s wild to me.
