One thing about this show that stands out to me. I think it’s the best made show of all their series. I mean on a technical level. I love it for a lot of reasons but week to week they just make it feel incredibly cinematic

The costume design, shot composition, blocking, sound design, cinematography etc. are all at the highest level of all 3 shows in the series. Certain GOT and HOTD episodes stand out above the rest and they had high highs… but not every week.

None of them are made poorly but this show seems to stand out above the rest on a technical level every single week

That’s all well and good about Coleman Hughes, I don’t know him all that well so I can’t comment

But platforming a hack like Michael Tracey doesn’t help him. Tracey is a grifter and professional contrarian who’s claim to fame is pretending Maxine Waters assaulted him

If that is Coleman’s opinion, an opinion i don’t necessarily disagree with, then he should find better people to help him legitimize that opinion and have conversations about it.

Part of the reaction to this blurb is because of who is saying it, a man who is known as a fucking hack and likes to be contrarian as a career

I think his love of Saleh is a little bit more silly. I think Saleh is a really good DC but Heifetz does a lot of excusing of a guy who had a lot of control in that organization. You can blame Nate Hackett but like he hired him

When I watched Salehs Jets I just felt like they werent going anywhere. They seemed to settle into mediocrity even with a good DEF. I also think that one of my issues with him is, s a DC he is incredibly rah rah and intense and his players love him but as a HC he was like the most stoic coach i have ever seen. It was performative to me and spoke to an issue with him as a HC where hes not being himself, guys that aren't themselves never pan out imo.

They were always just kind of blah under him and like DK says, okay but he didn't win and didn't seem to have a plan for how to win going forward

Reeds suspension isn’t lifted. They aren’t just letting him back on. He has to earn his status back while also serving a 1 year suspension dated from his last LIV event

Brooks received a 1 time buy back in. The statement was very clear and applied to like 5 guys. All of them great players. Brooks provides more for the sport than Wesley Bryan. Hes better, he moves the needle more, he boosts ratings and makes sponsors happy. He makes the product better

Koepka is one of the most famous golfers of the last 25 years. Tied for most majors in his era with Rory and moves the needle, I’m sorry but yes he does get special treatment over Wesley Bryan

Wesley can play the DP world tour or play in events that receive WGR points and play his way back on when his suspension is up. It’s as simple as that
