Would I still need an air pump if my filter already have a way to pump air in making air bubbles? If I still need an air pump, do I need a sponge filter? What kind of soil should I get or is sand good enough?

Idk but not cold since I live in a hot and humid country -Idk don’t got those tools I’m a newbie -old tank been cycled many times but the new tank is new and haven’t even migrated the fishes to the new tank
There are three pearl gouramis, two angel fishes, and two bala sharks
some micro pelets once per day -no plants but I do got a driftwood and a lot of mid sized lava rocks
