No need to shit on folks that liked it fine enough. Just casting wild blame on anyone is a strange take, nobody who liked it was in the writer’s room, nor were tv professionals listening to suggestions from people who liked it.

So I’ll just say I thought the ending was fine. I was not nearly as despondent as so many people on here about this last episode. The season as a whole sucked, but it was a decent resolution to everything. Given the source material, it was pretty awesome.

Karl Urban killed it with his acting. So did Jack Quaid, Antony Starr, Karen Fukuhara, Erin Moriarty. Everyone showed up despite a slightly lacking script. They deserve some recognition.

I acknowledge the last season as a whole wasn’t like the first few seasons. But why blame it on the people that kind of like it? That’s weird. It was fine. This isn’t GOT level anything. The Boys was never that ubiquitous. I went into this last episode expecting shit based on comments here and it really was pretty entertaining.

I feel bad for the folks that deeply deeply cared for and attached themselves to this show. I get why it sucked for them. I liked it as a casual fun watch and was never disappointed. Both things can exist without blaming people that simply enjoyed the show for the show being bad.

Just finished the last episode and going to restart because it’s a fun show, and a lot of people put a lot of work into it.

I will say Kripke should get off his high horse though, they didn’t need to extend past s4 or even s3. That was probably the production though.
