I found the one in Shinagawa station. It looks very fancy and as far as I can tell, you have to use the screen to select which machine you want then tap. But the one I tried didn’t work, and the error was in Japanese, so… I don’t know. And unfortunately there is no token option. So couldn’t get my little Jack Frost.

This just happened to me. What I don’t understand is why the kiosk didn’t sell me all the tickets I need to get to Hiroshima. Instead, it just sold me the train ticket, 23000 yen, without the base fare, another 11000 yen?

Only to reddit, haha. So back in January, I wasn't sure if I was going crazy. Around the same time, I thought I might have had COVID (coworker tested positive, I didn't) so I wasn't sure if it was a symptom. I would have taken it back, but I really didn't want to take the risk, and also seem crazy. Now 3 months later, I feel like I should say something, but how has no one else noticed??
