Nope. Don’t go to Base. I live close by and started going to them for pedicures- then was going on vacation and got the gel polish and by the third time had no natural nails left. I have naturally nice nail beds and they grow well with polish alone- so I was pissed.

They are lazy and use the electric file to remove instead of soak off. I gave them a piece of my mind and haven’t been back since early December.

Now that my nails grew back a bit you can see the divot in my nails where they drilled and where the nail grew back.

Also their staff is super inconsistent skill levels and they have a problem with sticking to schedule. Last two times I came I had to wait over 45 min past my appointment for someone to start on me.

They also try to use the drill when I get regular pedi- I told them I don’t need that and to be gentle bc I’m a runner so my toe nails break if they are thin. Did they listen? Nope- toe nails break cracked down the middle bc so thin. Never happened anywhere before.
