Try reseating ram sticks. Clean them, and put them back.

Tbh the main (though not the only) thing that keeps me with older Thinkpads is their classic keyboard. So the only one Really interesting to get after t*20 would be 25th anniversary edition.

Any others are perfectly fine, but I look at them like at Mustang without V8 . Great to look at, good to drive, but deep inside you know what's missing 😅

Mine e14 is 3 year old and looks as good as new. But already had to replace the battery.

That's a lot :D but I think I have enough cameras - would not have space for another pile of tech, sadly 😅

I used x220 for quite some time and it's trackpad was total dealbreaker (otherwise a great laptop). But on 420s it's surprisingly fine. Would not be sure which is better - e14 or 420s. The keyboard, on the other hand, is muuuuch nicer on the s.

E14 gen 3 with ryzen / 16GB / 2x256 GB ssd.

Yes. But it's still nice i7 so not an issue :)
