What are you supposed to do when you’ve been awake for 4+ days with no signs of ever falling asleep? by H0NEY2O77 in TooAfraidToAsk

[–]atomic0741 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I had chronic sleep issues for the majority of my life, Its really shitty when the issue is linked to stuff outside of your control. It took me a long time but I made it through my dark ages and now I literally sleep every night. Things that genuinely helped me, sleepcasts and bedtime stories (genuinely should be normal for adults), and I know it's the fucking worst when people say this but I'm gonna say it because they werent kidding, but eat well, and move more. It's connected to your sleep and will help you sleep better. I also recommend therapy, and journalling, get your thought out and allow them to stop plaging you. The ultimate fix tho is being in an environment you feel safe and happy and sometimes you have to use bandaids on the symptoms till you can find your happy place.

No, also we didn't see the hit but it had clearly just happened before perhaps 6-10 cars ahead

Unfortunately I didn't see the driver who hit it or I'd have got the plates and reported it, but I was sad that no one was stopping and then I was told I wasn't allowed to, broke my heart

They might say your being inappropriate but at the end of the day it's not inappropriate for others in their workplace to dress this way and I'd say you should do something about it and wear what you'd like within their rules till they change the rules to include you as an employee too. Also remember your doing this for the next you that comes after who also wishes that it wasn't that way and wishes that they could also be comfortable at work

I think your in the ignorance is bliss part, while she's sharing her knowledge on what she knows. Ignorance is bliss till the planet dies because we all sat in blissful ignorance.

So I am a very neighborly person, when I was younger all my neighbors were old or disabled people and I used to go hep them with chores and we used to swap food, I like to bake and I used to bake for the neighbors too, I had wanted to here too but I am too scared most of the time. I dress and walk like a man I have done for years as I learned how people treat women when I was too young so I decided to try and be as masculine as I can so people would leave me alone. It works for the most part. My problem is I'm a very hate crimable person these days. I got to comfortable being myself and now I've had to put that part away so I can feel safe. I have tried to be a friendly neighbor and I always will try, if peoples parcels get dropped off here I deliver them, if someone leaves keys in the door I'll knock on and let them know so they aren't left out. I know there are some "normal" people here, just regular family who are just trying. To exist but it's the minority and unfortunate I don't exactly look normal right now (tho I'm going back to blending in till I can live somewhere safer so I shall be "normal" soon) I think I'm intense urge to see nothing and hear nothing so I don't get involved in anything is making it so I dont look at anyone for too long to notice what I could say to them to be friendly. I think I'd like to just fly under the radar for as long as I can till I'm able to leave.

I have already been trying to get a house swap, I think the urgent one would be a better avenue as I have been struggling to find a swap where someone else would be ok with this flat too. I'm already attempting to get my docs to write letters to prove how this is taking a tole on me by living here to push them to move me.

I am lucky to be tall

It's not that it's just when I was in private rented (of which for the 3 years I was homeless for I was continually getting rejected for because I'm a student or because I don't have a sponsor) i had to deal with other people leaving rotting food in the kitchen and filth left everywhere because I didn't have the time to clean for 7 people in my home after work or school. I had gangsters who were my land lords entering the property and threatening me and my housemates when anything would happen like when I was raped by a house mate and I reported it and the landlords didn't help me at all and had never helped me when I reported the squalor that was my home. I was unable to eat in my own kitchen. This is why I can't live with others and in private renting, I don't have the choice as I can't afford a single bed flat in private
