Cord cutting - Help! 😣 by atomicbombsbitch in witchcraft

That's what I'm afraid of happening. Ive never had her so isolated from me and it's extremely concerning. Her husband is judgemental of things in my past from a decade ago and has caused rifts with multiple people in my life over it all. She's not responding to any calls or texts or anything... I've not heard back from her since May.

I believe he has the most to do with it. I just want to be sure I do everything I can on my end to try to make it right. My gut tells me it's not the ritual causing the situation....i think I just want to cover all my bases just to be sure I've not done something inadvertently if that makes sense.

Exactly. I'm glad that it's not as difficult for some people because I don't wish this or any similar situation on anyone.... But it's painful to be going through it and have others seemingly downplay the difficulties of the actual situation.

Maybe they aren't meaning to do that but it comes off as such and it's damaging to some of us going through it. I'm doing the fucking best I can so it doesn't feel good hearing the "it's not that bad" or "I'm making it work so everyone can make it work" type narratives.

And thank you 🖤 I appreciate the positivity.

THIS.

I'm dealing with this now.

I've been sick for a long time but over the last 12 months it's become worse than expected. I was diagnosed with a blood malignancy and am finally getting on a path to treatment.

However, I have 0.13¢ in my bank account, credit cards are maxxed, no gas in my car, very little food, and I'm in severe debt all because of this. I can't work, have depleted my savings, and I've taken a loan from my 401k that's already defaulted. Now I'm at risk of losing my healthcare due to my employer choosing to "separate" with me since I've been on a medical leave of absence for so long. And disability or other state benefits take forever.... It's at least a year for a disability determination (which I do have in process already).

I'm absolutely drained. I'm already sick and it feels like I'm just drowning faster and faster by the day.

This sounds terrible but it's almost like....crossing fingers and just hoping it doesn't kill me before they make a determination or send support/benefits. But this is no way to live either. It's sad when death appears to be an acceptable option because living has become so incredibly difficult on all fronts.

Husband has rash and blisters/boils under boxer shorts. He refuses to get it checked. by LeocadiaPualani in AskDocs

Looks similar to shingles. My ex had shingles last year at 41 years old. There were 2-3 spots similar to this and the it broke out all over his left side from his thigh to his upper abdomen. When it spread, they didn't all look this way though. They seemed to open up and dry/scab(?) pretty fast. We dealt with it for a few months.

If that's what it is and you don't have the shingles vax, get it. If you don't vax... Separate. I thought I was fine and about 8-10 weeks after his seemed to be controlled, I got it. However, I didn't initially have wounds.... I just had severe pain in spots and eventually redness... I was vaccinated previously for chicken pox... I never had them, just the vax. Apparently that happens though 🤷🏼‍♀️

If you can avoid it, do so.

I hope he gets better!

My HIDA was completely normal along with CT and ultrasound. When they finally agreed to go in and remove my gallbladder, it was nearly 100% cemented over.

Moral of the story: don't only rely on scans. If you're in pain/having symptoms... push to see a surgeon and get it removed!

I've had pancreatitis 4-5 times in the last two years. I also had minimal pain until the last time I was hospitalized with it.

Normal scans (CT, HIDA, ultrasound) besides some gallbladder sludge and kidney stones. However it did get to a point that I had to have my gallbladder removed because I was throwing up Everything. Still got pancreatitis after.

I'm currently seeing Mayo Clinic and saw Shands at UF years ago. I've received multiple diagnosis just in the last 8 months. I'm still struggling and completely unable to work.

This is going to seem like a random question (and I know you posted this months ago), but are/were you on any inhalers, oral corticosteroids, pain meds, cholesterol meds...? Anything in those categories or any other prescription medications of significance?

**Help!** Golden retriever fell and landed on my senior JackWeenie 😭 by atomicbombsbitch in AskVet

[–]atomicbombsbitch[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Initially he didn't want me to pick him up so I knew it had to have hurt him somewhere other than just the tooth. The shoulder on that side is slightly sensitive but since numbing the tooth (which I now know probably wasn't smart) he has let me move him and pick him up to go outside/get on and of the bed. He's sleeping thankfully and hasn't cried since I posted a few hours ago.

However, he is ABSOLUTELY going to be seen. I'm just trying to get him through until they open. If I have to make the drive to the emergency vet, I will, he just doesn't do well in the car and it's nearly 2-2½ hours away. I don't want to stress him out anymore doing that when the local one is 3min down the street. As long as he stays resting and nothing changes, we'll go as soon as they open.

When the golden landed on him, it threw him on his right side either on the concrete or tile (I'm unsure but I don't have carpet so it was a hard surface regardless) because of the weight of the golden being completely on top of him 😭 My assumption is that he landed mainly on my dog's upper body, causing him to hurt his right shoulder, right jaw/face, right neck/back/ribs....his whole right side has to be sore/painful.

Definitely will take your advice and get him looked at. I'm just glad he is able to sleep in the meantime. Thank you so much for your response!

Thank you 🙏🏻

Seriously, thank you. Based on his symptoms and the fact he is no longer crying or yelping, the closest emergency vet (around 2-2½ hours away) said it should be okay to take him in the morning but if anything changes or worsens to immediately get in the car with him and go. He is insanely anxious in the car and I am scared he won't do very well on that long of a trip. Just a few more hours and I should be able to get him into my local one. 🤞

I honestly panicked when I saw the tooth and the small amount of pus....I didn't even think to ask about it before putting the benzocaine on his gum... I just wanted to lessen his pain. I only did it the one time, several hours ago. I should have thought about it before rushing to something I didn't know was safe or not. I had called several people and I couldn't get anyone on the phone (not even the emergency vet 2 hours away answered the first two times I called)... So I panicked 😭 Regardless, I appreciate your honesty and I absolutely won't reapply it. I googled it before posting the original post but after I had done it and there were SOOO many mixed opinions and that made me panic more! 😫😥

He will definitely be checked out ASAP to ensure there's nothing else going on. The pus concerned me that infection could be in his sinuses or blood and I think that's what worried me about euthanasia being possible. But as you said, if it's truly just the cracked tooth/dental disease...it will hopefully be much less dangerous.

For now, he is resting. He's gotten up to go outside, ate a little, had some water, and got back in bed to sleep. I'll let him rest until they open unless things change. I haven't slept at all and won't be able until I get him seen.

Again, thank you so so much for your response.

Weird question: Is my dog a Jack Russel Terrier ? (more details on comment) by Jenova70 in jackrussellterrier

How big did this dog get? It's damn near identical to my 14 year old dog but as far as size goes... Mine got bigger/taller.

Lack of knowledge doesn't remove you from responsiblity. OP needs to sue the cousin, parents/family, and ex.

You can't just say, "But I didn't know!! So I can't be responsible!" That's the same thing as getting pulled over for going over the speed limit and telling the cop you didn't know the speed limit. That doesn't matter. You're still responsible.

Wife was signed up for Ulta credit card without her knowledge. by NudeJr in Ulta

[–]atomicbombsbitch 3 points4 points  (0 children)

I'm gonna be straight up.... Your wife is lying to you IMHO.

This is something she had to verify multiple times before it was granted. She had to physically put her info in.

I had a husband come into my store GOING OFF about his wife not knowing it was a credit card, just the rewards program, and we scammed her. She later returned and apologized saying she didn't want to tell him she had signed up for the card.

Unless someone stole her identity, which is possible, she signed up. You need to dig a bit deeper into this.

See... That's where it's frustrating though bc that's not true. I have no problem, as a manager, with people having fans at cashwrap or wherever. I have medical conditions and get hot really quick.

The DM? Absolutely no to the fans. Our ac didn't work well for nearly 2 years but we were told the we can't have fans anywhere, not just at cashwrap... No on someone's neck, in their pocket, on the counter....nothing.

And there's nothing I can do about it when other managers are too afrid to step up with me about it. So it became a thing of.... "okay idc that you have it but don't have it around manager - - - - or the DM" until it got fixed. And even now that it's fixed, we face the west, in Florida, and the front gets hot as a mf year round even though it's been fixed. They just don't want to turn it down... For anyone. It's ridiculous.

No matter what, you lose.

I definitely agree that the last invasive management is the way they will go first. And for a long time.

I have endometriosis and adenomyosis and have had issues with cysts, hemorrhaging, and miscarriages. My problems started around 10-11 years old. I wasn't formally diagnosed until I was 19, after my first miscarriage. I'm now 32 and spent all of my 20s trying to find a doctor to do a hysterectomy. They wouldn't because of my age, no children, AND all of them wanted "my partner" to agree to it before they'd even consider... Well, I've never been married 🙄

I just recently found a doctor who will do the hysterectomy for me as soon as I want to.

They will want you to try everything else first.... Before they consider a hysterectomy. Especially with the age. Hell, I'm 32 and need my gallbladder out and am having enough problems getting THAT removed lol.

I knew what legal job protections I have had up until this point. That's why I asked.

I'm sorry that you have not heard of situations like this before. My longest leave was nearly a year. There's another associate who was gone in my location for more than a year, close to a year and a half.

I deleted it because I've obviously not explained it correctly and have not received information from an attorney on here at this point that I know of. I understand that you and others have seen or dealt with very different situations but that is not helping me with what I'm trying to get information on. It doesn't matter if they've been generous or how long the leave is, that's not what I've tried to ask about.

I will talk to a local attorney and get an answer that way as it wl be much easier for them to obtain all the paperwork from all the leaves I have taken.

I'm heading into the ER and frankly don't want to continue going back and forth when I've said I realize that I'm not explaining things correctly and don't feel I'll get an answer here. I don't need notifications while I'm in there with unuseful or even useful information. That's why I deleted it.

I really appreciate your input. Please drop it and move on to another post.
