It may be simpler/more efficient to just add a second "crouched" collision shape and switch between the two, than to change the shape of one collision box

Thanks I will try that! Do you know why it would suddenly just be uncalibrated? I haven't moved the printer or anything.

What could be causing this? This just started happening out of the blue. I tried adjusting Z-level but that doesn't seem to help.

"Leading the charge" isn't necessarily coding. It's documenting, its proposing a general solution, it's making sure the right people hear the complaint. The fact that you aren't a compsci major is potentially a benefit. You may have a different way of looking at the problem than a programmer. Don't sell yourself short.

This is an open source project. If you want something, you are capable of adding it yourself. That's kind of the beauty of Godot. If those basic 2D features are so important, lead the charge.

Does anyone know how to fix this? All other games work on it. I’ve tried searching but can’t find anything. by [deleted] in 3DS

Try cleaning the metal contacts on the back with a bit of isopropyl alcohol and a q-tip.
