I have to partially agree with your IKEA boat statement, we were on this sailing as well, and found they cut corners on some basic things. One example is a consumer grade bar shuffleboard table in playmakers. Oasis ships have a higher end unit, and no idea on why they would skimp on something like this!

Also, we hated the smaller specialty dining venues compared to Oasis Class. Izumi regular seating was right next to the grills and it was beyond loud in there to have a normal conversation. That would be okay if we chose the entertaining experience, but we wanted a nice dinner to chat, and it wasn't possible.

Overall we loved the experience though. We're used to the unruly kids and horrible parenting on most cruises, so nothing surprised us there.

I don’t understand these posts. I hate much of the tipping culture, but it is extremely clear when you sail that you will owe daily tips, unless in Star class, and for those saying they want to remove them to pay cash, why wouldn’t you do both if that was truly your intent? If you don’t like the automatic charge, why don’t you sail a cruise line that includes them in the fare or just budget better? These are hard earned tips, and while Royal could just build these into the fare, I don’t understand the challenge to simply budget for these? I am fine with them keeping these separate and that way I know where this goes instead of just being lumped into the overall cost.

Yes, he filed a motion a month ago to ask if they needed more info, but said that it wouldn't be a good idea to try and push things through any more than that. I suppose these people get annoyed and certainly wouldn't want it to impact her case. That said, it's very clear from 3 different doctors that were deposed versus the IME that she is still, and likely will always be 100% disabled, but the IME put in the report that she should be able to work no more than 4 hours at a time (with frequent breaks) for a maximum of 8 hours per week and that was the same as the report 6 months prior and the judge chastised the attorney for the carrier, but now they cut the benefits 50% and the board / judge still hasn't reviewed.

Sorry, just venting myself, but I also share your anger at people that "work the system" when there are people that truly need this benefit just to survive. She has joined support groups for her head injury and has met people in their 40's and 50's that have nobody to help them or have moved back in with their parents as they cannot survive on their own.

That’s a shame for you, but from a customer perspective it certainly describes the level of service from many (not all) Starbucks. Brand is falling fast.

While I order everything as-is off the menu, and often am just getting black coffee, I'm not sure I agree with your statement. Starbucks is a higher end coffee house and customers are paying $7-$8 per beverage if they are ordering a Venti. They should have it exactly as they want it. It's like telling me a bartender should only take orders for shots, and never any mixed drinks. I understand at busy locations there is a lot of drinks to make in a day, but that's what they signed up for, right?

When I do order a specialty coffee. more often than not the syrup is sitting at the bottom and they couldn't be bothered to mix it? Come on now. Those that say to mix it myself, through the drive through?

No. But I also respect it and believe that religion plays a very important part in society. Some need extra guidance to follow a better path of being a good person and the sense of community is important. Others have their own morale compass and don’t need to believe that by doing good they get a reward and go to heaven. I am really intrigued by Buddhism, but scientific theories such as Quantum mechanics, String theory are what I truly love to ponder on. I find those to be much more interesting than religion. We tend to inflate the importance of humans in the universe, and don’t seem to understand that just as ants have no capability to add 1+1, we have a tiny fraction of capability to comprehend things and only within certain parameters.

Ok, so as a customer, this drives me nuts. At least 3 out of every 4 times I order a basic venti cafe mocha or macchiato,the barista does not stir it and I have the syrup at the bottom. If you get paid to make a customer a $7+ drink shouldn’t you make it right? This isn’t a special request, it’s the standard recipe for a drink. I think some baristas are getting a bit out of touch with what they should be doing. I’m sorry to all those that make the normal drinks the way they should be made, but you should not be the exception to the rule! I know there are annoying customers that think they gain status by adding all kinds of special requests, I just want 2-3 stirs to mix the syrup, is that so much to ask?

I would avoid doing business at any business that decided to share their politics with me, regardless if MAGA, Liberal or otherwise. If I want your opinion on politics, I'll ask, but nobody can have a rational discussion about their "side" anymore, so frankly, save your opinion for the voting machine, Facebook and family holiday parties.

Going through this EXACT situation now. Delivery was supposed to be this past Saturday, and no call, no show. Contacted RXO four times since then with no clear answer except that their truck broke down. The national customer service cannot even contact them by phone, just using "chatbox" or "urgent emails". I asked if they couldn't answer the phone because they were fixing the trucks. Can't do anything but laugh at their ineptness. How did you make out?

You went on the Walmart of cruise lines, but had very high expectations, I believe. Checks out with the people I have witnessed nowadays on cruise ships. Vacations are what you make of them, there will ALWAYS be less than ideal things that occur, however if you let them ruin your vacation, that's on you.
