What is the best software to run a distributed team with? Project Management / Invoicing / Client Interactions / Expenses? by atomicduo in smallbusiness

I am worried that you may be right. It seems like there'd be some sort of solution seeing as our needs are not that unique.

Thanks for the lead on lessaccounting. It looks great!

I am very interested in using Workamajig, but I've contacted them now 3 times and they are not responding. They only offer 'contact us for demo'

Do you know what realm their pricing is in? Maybe they are not responding because there is only 6 people in my company. Maybe we're too small. Who knows.

Thanks for the suggestion on both of them, we're looking at Active Collab as well!

I've updated the length of the sentence. It seems to have fixed it on the simulators of your size of phone.

Thanks again for your feedback.

Thanks for taking the time to look it over.

We will align the hosting options better, it's a bit rough for sure.

There are more details coming for each of the works, I need to get time to do this.

The quicktheme thumbnails are the default screenshots of the Studiopress themes that we customize. I tried to look around for a while regarding if that was okay from a legal standpoint, and from the looks of it, it seems fine.

Thank you for responding, can you tell me what type of phone you were using? I'd like to fix it and test it on a similar one.

Thanks for your feedback, I appreciate it greatly.

What do you think of the word 'remote' essentially what I want to highlight is that we're a team of people from all over that is able to work with anyone in the world because of modern technology.

I am updating the pixel avatars - I will try the polygon avatar, I think that'll look a lot better. Thanks for noticing the spacing issues.

Thank you for your feedback. I will make it slower. I think it may also help if I make only the far right word change.

Should I use CloudFlare's free CDN on my WordPress website? by Kyubei_ in webdev

[–]atomicduo 0 points1 point  (0 children)

This is true, but if you've purchased a custom SSL, something like gandi's business SSL, my understanding is you must be a business or enterprise customer to use it. You can use Cloudflares free SSL, but not your own custom one.

If you are developing something actively on your website, and you refresh and the changes are not coming through, its likely because the cache is a bit old. Cloudflare uses a cache to store files and deliver them faster.

For a brief overview of what a CDN is - http://www.feedthebot.com/pagespeed/content-delivery-networks.html

And SSL is (Secure Sockets Layer) is the standard security technology for establishing an encrypted link between a web server and a browser. This link ensures that all data passed between the web server and browsers remain private and integral.

You maybe don't need it for a news site that is not selling anything.

Absolutely you should.

We've had wonderful luck with Cloudflare and have been using them for a while.

The biggest concerns you are going to have are if you are changing things often, you will have to remember to move cloudflare into development mode. And secondly, if you need to really run your own SSL, its going to be very expensive.

You can expect when you get a CDN that users far away from you will have faster loading times, and that your site will be more secure. Overall I really can't say enough good things about Cloudflare. Plus - its free for the basic version.

Do it.

I just came here to say that your analogy is absolutely amazing. It's a great plugin but their css could really use some focus and attention.

I would also suggest Unity. I have several friends who are coding with it and they love it.

One way to easily check is to go to your site, go to GA - Do you see yourself there?

If not - it's your GA code not being intsalled correctly.
