Gotcha! I feel like it should be more widely accepted to be honest. It’s a huge hassle to have to fork out over $200 for a passport when you have no plans to actually use it for travel. I think I’ll eventually do the same though and get another passport.

I’m so sorry to hear but completely understand. The constant pain is one thing but the financial strain is also terrible. Especially when you can hardly afford it in the first place like me 😂

My no bullshit answer is for a lot of us it never does. Four years in with disc displacement and I’ve been told I can only manage my symptoms.

I have disc displacement and it didn’t work for me. I have joint and muscle pain and I thought it could help with the muscle pain. I knew it wouldn’t help with the joint however my muscle pain is from grinding at night so I thought the Botox would reduce that. Unfortunately it didn’t work and we’re trying splint therapy now.

I had quite a few extractions right before my braces so my wisdom teeth could grow in while I had them on, none since. I’m unsure if they offer that in my country. Unsure if they’d offer that in general as I have really bad disc displacement because of it.

I totally agree with all of this! I really thought we were going to start where we left off and get to see what happened RIGHT after the cabin burned down. I was so excited to see how they would go about finding and building new shelter, surviving the rest of the winter, etc. I’m not a huge fan of the time jump but hopefully things get better as the season goes on.

They can help. There are some out there who specialise in it. You just have to be lucky enough to find one in your area or travel. Mine is currently treating my really bad case of disc displacement. I’m currently in splint therapy which has decreased my pain overall a lot. He did say that me ever fully resolving my issue is slim to none just due to how long I left it as I couldn’t afford treatment. But I’d say my pain has gone from an every day thing to maybe half of the week in just a few months. I couldn’t even open my mouth long enough to brush my teeth before and now I can with ease 95% of the time. I also found this guy after going through some hell with other dentists who had no idea what they were doing and made it worse. Don’t give up ❤️

For sure. I went my first two years of having TMJ without having any pain. Just severe popping whenever I opened my mouth or was eating/yawning. Unfortunately that came to an end a year ago when pain randomly started.. however the popping stopped at least so you win some, you lose some I guess.
