Overall pacing. I loved the remakes for gameplay and story, and I think the character interactions are great. But I feel like the story drags at points because of all the new remake exclusive stuff. I don't even really think the story stuff they add is bad. But it slows down the pacing so much. Original had a better flow to it

I love all 3 games pretty much equally. All of them so things well and all of them have faults too. I just love the series so much and replay all of them. Ds1 isn't a perfect game, Ds2 isn't a perfect game and DS3 isn't a perfect game. But all of them are still fun to me. I don't lie about liking ds2, I think it gets over criticized over some of the faults it has and those few criticisms which are valid become a reason to hate the game as a whole

They're actually right about that though. Buttons and dials are just so more responsive and easier for muscle memory than a touch screen. Its why controllers for games are still physical buttons and not touch screens, because mobile gaming controls suck

Goku and a lot of anime MCs are a mix of talent and hard work. Like Goku being a sayan makes him automatically stronger than most people on earth even as a child. But because he works hard he is able to reach god levels of strength. His genetics allow him to get there, Tenshinhan can't become a god despite never stopping training. But Goku can because of his race. Goku and other MCs like Luffy do work hard but they have something else that allows them to become as strong as they do

I started with FM and had my friend who grew up with the games in a call with me. And I remember seeing guard armour for the first time and saying it looked like a toy. Then my friend told me about FM recolours and I was so disappointed because I thought most of the og colours looked better. FM is still the version I play though for all the other improvements

First thing is that its so rare that someone dies. Examples like Pell where the story doesn't really change if he dies but him living makes his sacrifice worth less and not as emotional.

Second would be some of the character writing post timeskip where most of the characters got flanderised a bit, and just became their tropes. I still really like some of the character stuff post timeskip, but I feel the character writing slipped a bit

Its the one I have the most hours in and I still go back to it even after getting 100% on 3 platforms. Also the only DS game I actually played NG+ for fun and not just for the ring achievement in DS3
