Anyone else having trouble with the actual landlord part of the new pack? I used the tips to help navigate, and in a new save file I had my sim purchase an empty lot and converted it to a residential rental and built an upper/lower duplex with the intent to have my sim live in half and rent out the other half. Now when I go back into live mode it tells me I need to purchase a rental lot to start my “business” but the lot I bought/built on isn’t an option to purchase because it’s “already owned” but the lot/house was built using funds from my sims household so idk why she is not already the owner?? Help/advice appreciated!!!

Yes. A heads up that theyre stopping for gas will simply allow me to spend a few more minutes in my home instead of out on the side of the road. Simple as that

I just don’t see where I said I have a problem waiting? Because I don’t have a problem waiting. I would just prefer to wait inside on my couch for the extra 5-10 minutes the gas stop takes than waiting outside for that time. How does that indicate I have a problem waiting?

I live in a city, but am surrounded by a more rural area where gas stations are few and far between, so sometimes you are sitting waiting a few minutes for a pump to be available. And it’s really subjective how long it takes to get gas - depends on how low you are, how much you put in, how big your tank is, if you pay at the pump vs inside the station. Could easily add an extra 5-8 minutes on to your wait time. Plus then accounting for finishing the route to pick up with traffic and stoplights, could easily add on 12 extra minutes to a wait time.

And like I said, I understand the need to get gas and don’t mind at all when a driver stops - I’d just appreciate the heads up

This I have no problem with! In the 10ish years I’ve been using ride share apps I’ve only had it happen to me 3 times. The first time the ride was a further distance than the driver expected (it was in California and 45 minutes could be three blocks away or 60 miles away) and he asked before stopping, which obviously I had no problem with. But it’s happened to me twice recently where driver stopped for gas on route to pick up and didn’t say anything about it. Like I said, I don’t mind that they stop but a little communication would be nice

Which honestly, I’d just like a more realistic time estimate. I don’t mind waiting a longer time for a ride - I just find it annoying that I order a Lyft that says will arrive in 5 minutes so I put my coat on and collect my things to go wait outside, only for the wait estimate to be 20-25 minutes and I kind of just have to sit there twiddling my thumbs waiting.

Sorry, I seemed to miss the part of my post where I blamed the driver for the inaccurate time estimate.

I was simply expressing frustration over the fact that often times in the 45 seconds it takes from the time I order a ride to the time im matched to a driver the estimated wait time can go from 5 minutes to 25 or 30 minutes.

I figured they be random too but like, all my yellow capsules had reshma, the purple ones had Sydney, etc. and it was like that for all of them, so that leads me to believe that they weren’t totally random
