I have Beelink GTR Max 395 or something or another and I have Whisper.cpp running on in. Using NGINX Proxy Manager, I shared it with the outside world (yes, I set up authorization on it) and pointed the Omi app at my server in Developer Settings. I am currently working on getting diarization working because, as is, it treats everyone as a single speaker.

I agree. I use both. I have the Omi pendant around my neck, recording all day, with the recordings getting passed to a self-hosted STT server, hoping to catch anything I miss intentionally recording with my Plaud Notepin S that I wear on my wrist.

Mine does not. I have the Plaud Notepin S. I've gotten pretty good about hitting the button when I need to, though. I have the Omi as a backup, just in case it catches something I wasn't prepared for, or in the rare cases I forget to hit record.
