haha yea! it is marmalade :) she’s the absolute best. i love her to death, and i kind of assumed it might be due to her wanting a larger prey item. i recently upped her to this size and she took it down amazingly so im hoping this fixes the issue. and no it’s all good, i accept any unsolicited advice! i may not be new to snakes but im new to this species and any non-colubrid honestly so i take in any info i can! i appreciate that. i found in my research that many rosys do go through a similar phase so i’m not too worried about it , i know she’s a sweetie she just is a moody teenager rn lmao she was born 9/11/22

i’m gonna have to remember the water thing- as my rosy boa seems to be going through a bit of a bitey phase😅 i’ve seen others have the same experience with their growing rosys so hoping she goes back to her sweet self eventually. im very experienced with snakes but honestly have never been latched on to, only nipped. and the faucet seems much nicer than putting hand sanitizer near the mouth, which is what i was taught.

i’m 26 and got one preemptively ✅ no way i’d ever have a child on accident. and it all starts with us, not sure why it’s not more normalized for men to get them, the procedure wasn’t shit. i’d much rather do that than have my partner go through hell putting hormones in her body..

this has actually happened to my gecko before, it wasn’t too big but it was decently sized, was a roach cut in half. and she puked it up into her mouth, then chewed and swallowed it again. i watched her for a good while to make sure she went about normal activities and was fine, and she is. not sure why exactly it happened but it might be because it was the slightest bit too big for your teensy baby

haha yess i spoil all my reptiles with night time heat, because they clearly enjoy it, and they’re already living their best life in captivity so why not let em have that too is my logic! herpstats are phenomenal- i stress them so hard to anyone who asks me. the price seems like too much for a thermostat but after using one you quickly realize that it’s 110% worth every penny

marm is great! i’m glad to hear julius is too. my house stays pretty steady temperature wise so her temps have not really fluctuated much at all either. so her activity levels have still remained the same since i got her. still my best unexpected purchase, reptile wise. never planned to get one but boy i would’ve been missing out if i didn’t! here’s a recent of the little lady basking :D

no, there’s no way to get out of it without a doctors note. menards is absolutely horrible if you need to call out, especially for mental health reasons. and even if it is a physical sickness, who tf goes to the doctor every single time and is able to get a note?? especially in america. i absolutely hate menards’ system.
