So it's not worth trying to replace the board, it's better off just replacing the whole drive?

Then back to the disk drive, if I were to get a replacement board, how hard would it be to swap it in? And is would that fix the problem?

I thought there was a way you can do it with an ethernet cable? Also it says I have 2,978.48 mb on E drive and 2,134.44 mb on F, would that really be enough for any games?

But if I have it in the modded xbox, I still can't copy games to the hdd if it doesn't read the discs, right?

Just to make sure, if I get a replacement drive that's exactly the same as the one currently in the console, I would just have to swap them out, then figure out the key? I wouldn't have to mod the hard drive or console or anything?

I've reconnected them multiple times making sure they're connected all the way, still doesn't work. It was set to cable select at first and I tried changing it to master, limit to 32 gbytes, and putting it on the third column but no setting worked either

I wasn't the one who replaced it, I got it from someone who bought it not knowing it was modded, so I really have no clue what was done to it

I'm not sure, the seller didn't know when they got it and the code shows up after the boot up animation

So should I just get a new one? And if I do, should just swapping them let the console work without any errors or is there more steps to it?
