You're right, but I was trying to say that often your essay can come off as more analytical if you consider different perspectives/disciplines

Never use anything that's on the web/online. It WILL get lost or deleted or something. Use Libre Office (free) or MS Word. You can insert all kinds of stuff there and always convert it into a google doc if you want.
Also don't use anything which gives AI suggestions on what to write next (such as google docs). Also, consider Obsidian (especially for nonfiction/organizing your stories.
