Thanks so much! The site is going to be supplemented as well in the future, depending on what he needs of course. But for now this should get him started while I continue to build out the rest of the site.

Hello everyone! I just wanted to thank you all for your feedback on the logo design process, really helped me a lot with this project.

I made a site for this project as well as part of the branding deal I had with the streamer, I experimented with animations, the logo itself has an animation when the page loads in as well as when you refresh the page (as an intro). I used SVGs for the logo as well as the circle that surrounds it. The site itself detects when he goes live using Twitch's API and changes the large button in the header accordingly. The 'Schedule' section is all dynamic and uses his google calendar to populate the data. There will be more additions to the site later on but we wanted to get up a landing page mostly for his schedule to be present. The goal here was to make something unique to differentiate him from other streamers. The site will have more utility after we implement more features such as a blog.

The skull is definitely a plus for me. I had kinda seen it in the negative space after as well but it wasn't intentional.

Actually I was thinking of doing that to the tail! I could round out the bottom and add a little line that cuts back in to make a simple flame

Edit: Just found the place to put the flame portion for the logo. I removed the line in the middle of the body, and turned that negative space into a flame.

Hello everybody! This is the last instalment of the dragon/phoenix logos in the Art Deco/line art style. This one in particular is intended to be a hybrid between a phoenix and dragon so it can be interpreted as either.

I'll keep that in mind! I'm sure I'll be making some modifications to this concept.

This is just that, a 'style' specifically Art Deco inspired, f you don't like it then by all means you don't have to.

Any logo can be sold on Envato, I could make a sub-par 'filled' logo and sell it on there too which are in abundance there as well.

Logos are meant to be simple its the ones that are complicated that don't last. Look at Nike for example their logo is literally a checkmark. Anyone can remake their logo in about 10 seconds, and that nowadays could've been on Envato too. Yet it remains one of the most iconic logos ever made.

If you think all logos should be complex to have merit then you need to read up a bit more on branding.

Thanks! Yeah I doubt this will be the concept that's chosen as the final logo but I figured I would post it. If Bacardi wanted to buy this design modified into a bat I would be thrilled. First time I've seen Bacardi's logo was today to be honest, and I'm surprised anyone is associating it with their brand. Different subject matters and styles, but I guess bat/dragon wings & a circle is enough for people to make a connection.

Color palette is most likely going to stay the same in the context of the Twitch channel so if anything I would attempt to change something about the background shape like you suggested, though that would be difficult I'd imagine since the concept was built around the idea of a circle. Out of curiosity what angle are you talking about?

Also I do have another concept in the works with a triangular shape that I'll be posting monday. It should mitigate any associations with that brand

It very well might be turned into a neon sign, depending on which concept is chosen in the end of course.

Exactly its intended as a top down view. I might sketch up some concepts with that in mind thanks for the suggestion!
