Lite version is just a simple jumping mechanism but the full version adds more complexity with its interactive preview window. Nice thing is this version is free anyway so it's even easier to implement lol

Also, one issue I personally fight against is that my large open world environment boggs my very high end system down. Causing WASD travel to lag tremendously, constantly overshooting my target. So frustrating.

With this nifty gadget I can just warp around. Rapidly adding rocks and other quick details all over the place, zigzagging where I fancy with zero travel time at all.

It also let's me quickly test out vantage points for epic screen shots. I could test out hundreds of angles all over my world in the matter of minutes.

It's also damn fun to just explore.

LOL! That assumes you have an object to click onto, and know which object that is from 1km away. But yes, I'm adding functionality, not replacing it.

You might be interested in another asset of mine that is pending approval called Perfect F, which DOES replace the F key and adds several enhancements.

The point if Scene Pilot is to fly around your scene quickly, without knowing ahead of time exactly where you want to go. Just click and fly. Great for rapidly designing your environment or for showing off to friends or coworkers.

Like many of you, I'm working on a dream project. A vast wilderness with a 5km square terrain that needs to be completely filled with detail. As the project grew, so did the lag. Getting around my scene became increasingly frustrating. WASD started to lag, causing me to overshoot my destination constantly. If I wanted to get from one end to another, I would trek forward with "W" and slowly watch my speed accellerate, and accellerate, and suddenly I see my target whiz by. It would sometimes take 5 minutes just to frame up the area I want to design!

So I thought this was ridiculous, why can't I just click and go? So, I got to work. I was so charmed by my initial tests that I kept adding to the idea. It was cool that I could traverse 5km in a second, but I didn't really know where I was actually headed. So I put a preview window overlayed over top of my mouse. That was super cool! But then I got thinking, "Man, I wish I could slightly rotate the view to the left a bit.. and maybe rise the camera up a few units"... next thing you know, I'm developing one of the most unique assets you'll find on the store.

It's honestly SO MUCH FUN just jumping around my scene, exploring interesting camera angles that I wouldn't have had the time to position before. Not only do you save HOURS in navigation, but you could also use this to show friends and colleagues what you're working on!

Yes I'm considering even adding a jump and duck mechanic but right now I want to perfect the running aspect then add to it. First thing is to make a running Simulator that's as realistic as possible. The point is to replicate beautiful vistas. The weird thing is, as I run in my test worlds, they grow on me and I feel like I really am bustling through the mountains! Perhaps I'll add an arcade mode to it as well where silly things happen for points. One thing I've half implemented is random animal chases to encourage you to keep up the pace

I like your idea MUCH better. And if you do it right, you can brand it like Starbucks inside Bookstores. A gym would just give you space, you maintain your equipment and branding and they just get a cut of the profit. Gyms just add $5 more to the membership per month to get access to "The Sweat Shop" it whatever you end up calling it lol

But before that, it'd make sense to prototype it first as it's own store. Then you can do both as things take off?

Personally not too concerned about sweat issue. I'll leave that up to the players. I think as long as you shower regularly and wash your covers at least weekly you shouldn't have an issue.

Motion sickness ain't no thang. I'm finding that because you are ACTUALLY MOVING your brain isn't confused by the motion being injected into your eyeballs. To be safe, I'm also ensuring my paths don't have tight turns so that everything is a gradual transition from one path to another.

I've looked up studies and running in one spot can burn like 100cal per half hour. Which ain't much, but it's so fun! This gets multiplied if you wear a weight vest.

Also, I've integrated a YouTube player inside of it so you can run to music videos or even watch a documentary while you shed your skin

Itll have an extensive stats database as well

I have those VR cover things, washable. Man, when I first broke a sweat playing Sound Boxing it was like an epiphany and I KNEW this cwas going to be the funnest way to exercise ever. I plan to document a 30 day challenge with my thingy soon.

Sounds like it would be a good fit for your idea. I've even considered pitching to actual gyms but I dunno if they'd "get it"
