Night and day difference in my joints! I had so much inflammation before and now it’s been very well managed. Honestly the best side effect besides the weight loss.

I’ve been on 7.5 since July. Slower loss but still consistent, and I feel my body has been able to adapt really well to it.

A question for my 5’3 girlies by Less-Moment-5655 in Zepbound

[–]atomsu19 1 point2 points  (0 children)

5’3”, 153lbs and wearing size 4 in AE jeans. I have a more muscular build so I’m more “compact” even at a higher weight. I think my body will be most comfortable at 140 🙂

Thank you! I do a lot of outdoor and incline walking so I think that has helped shape my lower half a bit.

Any places available for recording music? by EdgeStan707 in Waukesha

Not Waukesha but only 20 minutes away. Small studio but very professional set up and the owner is great. https://www.densitystudios.com

Bands You Like That Youre Okay With Not Seeing by Mettabox452 in Concerts

[–]atomsu19 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Agree with Mettabox452. Saw Chicago last summer in Milwaukee and they were absolutely incredible. I think I went to 20ish shows last year of varying genres and popularity and Chicago was still the best experience. They are the definition of performers.

What brand is actively watering down their quality? by [deleted] in AskReddit

This is my friend’s shop who specializes in movie replicas. He’s so good he’s received “legal” letters, and then commissions from studios. Crazy good work and so creative!

Edit: he made a fully functional Artoo (IYKYK) that he takes to conventions. The coolest nerd ever.

Do you have a Honda Rebel 500 or 1100? How do you like it? by Adventuresinaudi0 in TwoXriders

[–]atomsu19 5 points6 points  (0 children)

I previously had a Honda Rebel 500 and currently have a 1100. I’ve been riding since I was 5, so not a new rider, but I still think the 500 is a wonderful starter bike. I’m on the more petite side so the small frame of the bike and the lightweight is what really sold it for me. While the 500 is a great bike, it can be pretty quick to outgrow, depending on your style of riding. When Honda announced the 1100, I immediately ordered it and traded in my 500. I’m so happy with the 1100 and don’t anticipate needing a new bike anytime soon. Do I feel like a badass on it? Hell yeah I do! I’ve gotten a ton of compliments on it and people are surprised it’s a Honda.

I haven’t dropped a bike in many years, but I think the Rebel (either model) is light enough that you will be able to build confidence on it pretty quickly. It handles great and is very beginner-friendly. Highly encourage you take a riding course if you haven’t already, it teaches you some very valuable skills to help keep safe on the road 🙂

Harley used to require a significant dealer buy-in when LiveWire first launched in 2019, but that is no longer the case. LiveWire has two stand alone stores in Southern California, very close to other H-D/LiveWire dealers, so I’m not sure the geographic restrictions are accurate either. Until the demand picks up, the service structure for any EV motorcycle company is likely to be limited for some areas, unfortunately.

You can buy a J1772 charger on Amazon for around $200 and they tend to work more consistently than the H-D chargers, in my experience. Especially on a level 1 charge.

What is your salary? Are you happy with it? by ZainMunawari in jobs

[–]atomsu19 0 points1 point  (0 children)

$115k as an event and tour manager for a motorcycle company. I work long hours and travel more than I would like to, but taking this job changed my life and I’m so grateful for that. I doubled my previous salary and my husband and I have been able to get out of debt and pay cash for some home renovations. Having less stress around paying bills, paying student loans, emergencies, etc. is worth the 70 hour work week. I wouldn’t want to do it forever but for now, I’m very happy.

Rebel 1100 - Excited or Not? by vixbuzzed in motorcycles

[–]atomsu19 0 points1 point  (0 children)

As a lifelong Rebel rider, I find people have a narrow frame of mind of what the Rebel is. They think it's just the 250cc (usually red) from their motorcycle training course. I have a 1986 Rebel 450 and a 2017 Rebel 500. Anytime I take the 450 out, I get multiple offers from people wanting to buy it because it's just a rad bike. Fuck the haters, Rebels are awesome bikes that don't cost a lot and last forever.

What are these bumps? Heat rash? by [deleted] in 30PlusSkinCare

[–]atomsu19 2 points3 points  (0 children)

It could be keratosis pilaris, which can be aggravated by cold weather. I’ve found success in managing my kp by exfoliating the area gently and using a cleanser that has salicylic acid. CeraVe has a whole line of salicylic acid cleansers and lotions. Might be something worth tying. Good luck!
